How far do you live from your parents?

I just graduated college and have to find somewhere to live. I love my parents and want them in my life but don’t want to limit my options on proximity to them.

My dad is dead and my mom lives with me.

My husband's parents live 1,300 miles away. We live in Ann Arbor, MI and they live in Houston, TX.

I live a mile away from one parent, and 3000 miles away from the other. Before this, I lived and worked over 1000 miles away from both. It worked out fine.

I live far from my parents, but that was because they were murdered in a back alley. It made me want to strike fear into the hearts of criminals and dress as a giant knock off bat. Attached is a picture of me, hope this helps :)
