How do I get the contact information of an employer?

I'm writing a cover letter but I have no clue who the employer is , since they didn't have their contact information on the ad like most employers.

There's a reason that they didn't have their contact information on the ad. They don't want to get cover letters that have their contact information. Just do a cover letter without including their contact information.

Even the smallest of company's have web sites so just Google them. The web site will almost certainly have their address on their "Contact" page.

If this "employer" doesn't even give out its contact info this is likely some scam.

Maybe it is just someone phishing for information?

If they didn't supply verifiable contact information, they ARE NOT a legitimate employer.

Update to comment: Why would that put a fake ad anywhere other than a legitimate site?
