    Ksp for NiCO3 = 1.3X10^-7

    Ksp = [NI2+][CO32-]

    In combined solution, before any precipitation,

    [NI2+] = 15.0 mL X 4.14X10^-4 M) / 27.0 mL = 2.30X10^-4 M

    [CO32-] = 12.0 mL X 4.92X10^-4 M / 27.0 mL = 2.19X10^-4 M

    Q = [Ni2+][CO32-]

    Q = (2.3X10^-4) (2.19X10^-4) = 5.0X10^-8 M

    Because Q < Ksp, NiCO3 will not precipitate
