Seriously, there are more than enough things that need to be done in order to keep humanity progressing to justify both men and women. If nothing else, the vast majority of medical technology used in human reproduction was created, manufactured and modified by men.
And of course Internet protocol, the structure of the Internet, the grid that supplies power to the infrastructure of the grid - pretty much 99% of what you're typing on is a result of male engineering. Could women do these things? In most cases, certainly.
It doesn't seem like they want to, at least not in the same numbers.
Even when you break it down into raw issues of reproduction, both men and women are working on creating technologies where NO human of either gender is required to gestate a zygote to birth.
You shouldn't worry about your gender function being replaced anywhere near as much as you should worry about your entire species function being replaced.
We're already seeing that now in the huge numbers of jobs becoming obsolete due to machines. The Japanese are even augmenting human companionship with robots.
