Video games, like any form of media (like TV, Radio, Books, ect.), knows no age...
Currently, the average age of gamers is in their mid-to-late 30's. In short, those who are starting their own families or are parents are likely those who grew up with video games as children.
The only time you may be too old for video games is when you no longer have the physical & mental capabilities required to play them. However, even seniors citizens may still be able to enjoy the classic, turn-based RPG's (like the Dragon Quest series & even Pokémon) as the game moves at their desired pace, so they can take as long as they need to read the game text & select their own actions (as the game waits for them)... providing a low demand on physical & mental requirements.
As long as you enjoy them, keep gaming on!
