Is the gtx 780 still a decent graphics card? i could get one for 100 dollars?

It's on par with a GTX 1050 ti (in terms of modern cards), So it's not hopeless. But $100 is way too much for such an outdated card , $50 would be a fair price. Keep in mind Kepler does DX 9/10/11 quite well, but for DX12 titles, it struggles.

You can get them on eBay for under $100 they are a 3 gig graphics card that's enough for most uses

It's a bit faster than the RX 570. If the goal is 1080p 60 FPS high settings, it's still a fairly decent option. Just be aware that the Kepler architecture hasn't aged very well (performs worse relative to newer cards in newer games compared to slightly older games) and it's a really power-hungry card (250W compared to 120W for the RX 570).

But if you have the power supply for it and it's really only $100, that's a pretty good deal. The RX 570 was about $175 before the cryptocurrency mining started and drove the price up to whatever it's at now.

It depends on the resolution that you are playing at. If you are playing at 1080p or less then that would be fine, otherwise there will be memory and memory bandwidth problems.

its as good as a rx480 and not far away from a gtx 1060... so definitely not a bad graphics card and 100 dollars doesnt seem too much for it

its still a decent card for somewhat dated titles for sure .. i would think more like 30-40 bucks would be more like it ..
