It should be fine. It usually takes many repeated passes through airport x-ray scanners before the film becomes fogged.
There used to be “film-safes” sold which were basically lead-lined bags. But all they usually caused was for the scanner operator to increase the power output to defeat them and that then often did fog films. Where scanners could not be turned up, the bag would get manually searched and because that took up valuable time, pissed-off security guards would often open and dismantle film canisters ruining them in the process.
In short, relax. Your Instax instant photo packs will be fine, and if you still have concerns then just buy them in the country you’re visiting. They are available worldwide, and even is less developed countries are often available at international airport shops.
