4k HDR Streaming vs 4k Blu-ray?

I know this is a silly question, 4k blu-ray is clearly the winner but hear me out first. Note: this is exclusively about 4k HDR video, not 1080p streaming where the winner is much more obviously blu-ray. Obviously 4k blu-ray has better video quality but which 4k having as many pixels as it does, would the difference even be noticeable without pausing and comparing or zooming all the way in? As for sound quality, obviously compressing files for streaming makes sound awful in comparing but if you're streaming through a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system can you still tell the difference as opposed to tv speakers? I'm asking because I'm considering buying an apple tv and going digital. Several reasons are leading me to consider doing this, one being convince, another being price and quantity. There's more 4k hdr movies on iTunes than there are actual 4k blurays. Another reason is if the difference isn't as major as some people say considering the resolution is so high a slight difference can't be seen I'd be okay with the lesser quality. Sound is where my concern lies most because of the compression but I do have surround sound if that could make it better. Another reason is having all my movies on iTunes and vudu make it easier when traveling since 4k blurays aren't exactly common and in every household. Just let me know your thoughts on this
