Is it correct to say thank you sir for letting me attend the meeting on November.?

The use of the word "sir" implies that you are Indian, or from the Middle East. While not wrong, most in the West would omit that word.

I would simply say, "I appreciate your including me in that meeting in November." then give a simple reason why. Like 'it was informative' or 'I have a firmer handle on the situation now." Just don't over due it. Grovel, and you won't be invited to another.
