This is our take home quiz and I already answered it but im not sure if im correct :( Can someone please solve this?

1. A man searching for his lost wallet walks 2.50m south, then goes 5.25 m at an angle 30.0° north of east. Find the man’s resultant displacement vector using component method.

Impose a coordinate system with positive x-axis going east and positive y-axis going west.

s = -2.50j + 5.25cos(30.0°)i + 5.25sin(30.0°)j

= (4.547i + 0.125j) m

Magnitude = sqrt(4.547^2 + 0.125^2) = 4.548 m = 4.55 m to 2 significant digits

Direction = arctan(0.125 / 4.547) = 1.57° north of east

Vx = 5.25 cos 30

Vy = 5.25 sin 30 - 2.5

Vx = 4.547

Vy = 0.125

R = 4.549

< = 1.575 degrees
