Is the landmark hotel in Bangkok guest/friendly? Is there a joiner fee, or will it be no problem?

    Landmark Hotel Bangkok

I have stayed in the Landmark over the years with and without additional person but always paid cash.

The policy is that a temporary extra person in your room is no extra charge. However, if you tell the desk you have an all night guest, likely you will be charged for another person.

Bringing a "rental" girl in with you may get a hotel person to ask to see and hold her Thai I.D. card. She can get it back easily upon departure. This is an important service of the hotel to protect you and the hotel from bad actions from the girl. Most any hotel will have this system, some more discrete than others.

No joiner fee. No limit on your choice of companion.

P.S. Some extra or later charges could be from the in-room drinks and snacks which you may or may not have consumed. You are supposed to report that usage but can be caught by the maid reporting missing stuff from the in-room refrig etc.

You just got an important lesson about Thailand and your behavior here.... NEVER rub stuff in a Thai face like you did with your silly question to the hotel. Have you never heard of DONT ASK, DONT TELL ??? You will need to relax a lot to get along here.

Yes, the Landmark hotel allows visitors. I have never been charged a fee for this.

yes, the Landmark hotel is bargirl friendly ( no joiners fee ); and probably 90% of hotels in thailand as well.

No joiner fee, plus the hotel's entryway is very large, they won't question you.

Watch your bill and credit card on checkout as they have been known to double bill and add on charges to credit cards after guests leave. Not joiner fees, the hotel just doesn't have the best reputation. It's a very nice hotel, just not always honest. The JW Mariott, just a very short distance away, is the same level of hotel(maybe a bit more expensive, though), guest friendly, and has a good reputation.
