I suggest using a liqueur or sweet alcohol like Sour Puss or even flavored wine as your alcohol. Make the jello as suggested on the package but instead of cold water, use 1/2 water, 1/2 alcohol. Make sure that the jello crystals are fully dissolved before adding the cold. Mix well. I like to make it in a juice jug to make it easier for pouring.
Use either dollar store plastic shot glasses, OR, the best to use (imo) is actually the paper ketchup cups you can get at McDonald's or other fast food restaurants. You can easily pull the paper back to release the shot, vs with a plastic glass you either break the glass, stick your finger on the sides to loosen them, or have to stick your tongue in there really hard which is kind of awkward and unattractive, LOL.
Arrange the shot glasses on a cookie sheet or cake pan. Pour completed jello mixture in each glass until mixture is finished. Cover with saran wrap and let chill at least 8 hours. I like to make mine the night before a party, so they chill for about 24 hours or so. Make sure to keep them in the fridge while serving as well.
