It's ok for a multimillionare like him to buy expensive cars like BMW or Porsche or any other expensive models, if he were not the president of the country. By the way, these expensive cars are gas-guzzlers. As leader he wants the people to practice austerity. But he is not practicing it. He wants the country to go green, use alternative energy. Great. So why did he not dispose of his BMW and buy a small electric car. It's cute and it's the car of the future. After all, he is a bachelor. He can drive his date any where with it and nobody will notice, unless it's a very expensive electric car with a lot of trimmings. You cannot be the exception to the rule. As the President whose rise to power is by virtue of his parent's legacy, without much credentials to bank on, he should atleast have the foresight to rise above what is expected of him. He should prove to the people who did not vote for him, at the very least, that he is indeed capable of running the country and lead the people. The country is hurdling so many problems, and all he can do is buy a thirdhand porsche and race around the track in Subic. Perhaps, if he could make every Filipino pronounce the brand of his priced car properly, then, he can have it. But the reality is that, he could not. And he just doesn't give a damn.
