    Hello,

I am a student in Pune & I am from Rajasthan.

I can't bring my bike here so I have to use public transport daily. So the best thing i like about them is their time operations. The time is fixed, if you are late then you are surely going to miss it.

One more thing is their easy abailability. They run on each and every route for the pessengers even only 5-10 persons are available for accomodation.

But their crowdiness and the way they avail off the passengers is pathetic. Government should look into the matter.

    May you agree with me.

    Thanks.

i ride the ttc. i HATE it!!! i have to use to daily to get to my campus, which is about an hour away from where i live. i go on the subway for the first 30 minutes then take a bus to school for the another 30. i can't stand it!!!

the seats are dirty, the poles are even more gross since a million people hold that a day. god only knows where they're hands have been! oh god and don't get me started on rush hour!! geeez! you have to " try" squeezing in, and even when it's super full, people stll try to fit in.. i swear to god this one time this lady was RIGHT INFRONT OF MY FACE! like seriously if you looked sideways, you'd think she was on top of me, not to mention i had to hold on to something behind me as not to fall over her and everyone else (too crowded to be able to turn around)ooh and the bus lineups! soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long!!!you have to wait for a few buses in this freezing weather until you get to go on one!

oh oh and not to forget the people that actually USE the public transportation. the things i've seen down there... the drunks, the crazy people, the sick people.. this one time i saw some guy (very dirty) kiss the pole, then i look at him and see saliva pouring out of his mouth...after i saw that i got off the next stop.

oh and btw, never never NEVER pick up those newspapers lying around (i can't understand how people actually reach for it) i've seen soooooooooooooo many people sneeze right on the newspapers and put it aside and then someone else comes along sits in their seats and then go pick it up and read.. that's nasty!!

god how much i hate... i think i could go on :P

I hate the loud music people play in the bus and the lateness of the bus.

I only used it out west years back.

It was the gang type scarey younger guys. Very disruptive and just plain scarey. Never knew what they might do.

Stinky...dirty....smelly. Saw a roach run around on floor one day.

Took forever, but seemed longer because of the mentioned conditions.

    bad bad bad

People who have a lousy attitude toward personal hygiene always annoy me (MBTA) because you can't avoid their stink on a crowded train or bus.

Yes, the waiting.......sometimes it took so long. And of course, the increasing price of fare with no improvement for services.

I sometimes take a commuter train, and I don't like it when people are being obnoxiously loud.
