Did police handle this correctly? (Kansas)?
This is an issue that happened over the summer and I’m still curious about if this they handled it was ethical.The police were called to my grandpas home where I lived on a domestic disturbance call.We were verbally fighting that’s why he called.When the operator asked my grandpa if I was violent he responded with, No, there is no violence. The first set of officers arrived and entered our living room where my grandpa and I were standing. They asked for our names. While telling them, I went to put a jacket that was already in my hand, down so I didn’t have to hold it anymore. Officer 1 then grabbed my arm quite hard and I pulled back, staying where I was standing,and said “you don’t need to touch me” he then proceeded to try and tackle me. I pulled out my phone to try and record it and he slapped it away, I picked it up to try and record again and he slapped it away again and tackled me onto the floor, then I had both officers on me trying to get my hands behind my back not telling me I’m under arrest. At this point I believe I haven’t done anything wrong, they haven’t told me I’m under arrest, and the fact that it was a civil issue and they didn’t have authority to do anything, you’d think that would matter. Also, the ONLY information the police have it this point is that we were arguing, I wasn’t violent, and our names. Yet I’m be tackled by 3-5 officers.they dragged me out to my yard where they continued to restrain me in a straight jacket. I was charged with 3misd.1felony

What happens if I don’t pay this parking ticket?
I got a really unfair parking ticket in New York City that’s $115. I work there and need my car for work. I heard that if I don’t pay the ticket, they could boot or tow my car, but I don’t live in New York City, so what could they possibly do if I ignore the ticket. You know how they say you shouldn’t let people walk all over you? Well I’m not going to let the corrupt city government walk all over me, so I’m thinking of just ignoring the ticket.

Why can't people learn to mind their own business instead of ignorantly calling the cops?
I was walking across the parking lot when I noticed a minivan facing towards me. I a shortcut across the gravel. The van changes position so Its see me again. I walk around a big metal electrical box and stop. It pulls around so it can see me again.
I'm completely disturbed by it. And then three cop cars show up three cops get out and walk over to me and tell me that they got a 911 call from somebody who said to check up on me. I'd love to hear that 911 call because I know I didn't interact with anybody tonight nore in public to make them think I was distressed or a criminal. now people that saw me with them think I'm a bad person. So when the f*** people going to stop bothering people who they don't even know and haven't even talked to nor have they seen doing anything criminal and or even wrong? Because don't we have better things to do with our taxpayer dollars then pay for this waste of our resources how come they can't be used for solving some burglary that might be going on instead of having to bother with this s***? you gain a reputation when people see you talking to cops in that manner that makes people think they need to call the cops over absolutely nothing... I hope when those same people need a cop, there aren't any because they're out trying to deal with other idiots who make the same kinds of calls

How do I get teenagers to stop littering on my lawn? ?
For the last few months, I occasionally hear kids in the field behind my house late at night. At first it just sounded like a few of them. But recently, I've been finding beer cans, used condoms, and articles of clothing I'd rather not discuss on my property.
I went out one night to tell them to get off my property, and discovered there were several dozen teenagers. They bombarded me with rocks, and they were all gone when the police showed up 20 minutes later.
How do I deal with these kids?

Neighbor keeps calling cop because my 1 year old looked out the window?
What to do? I am getting somewhat irritated by my neighbor(s). Probably the same person calling the cops.
Earlier this week, the cops showed up at 12am and said they got a report from the neighbor saying they heard boys fighting and heated arguments. I explained that I have a 9 y.o, 6 y.o and 5 year old boy who are always arguing and fighting because thats what kids do! I explained that the boys probably opened their window. I let them looked inside and they asked if my kids were fine. Obviously my kids are FINE! So they left and waited in their vehicle by my house for a good 40-50 minutes before they left.
Just 2 days later!!! Today AGAIN at 12am!!! The cops showed up AGAIN! Saying they neighbors saw a child knocking on the window. It was my 1 year old baby girl looking out the window at night, she wasnt even knocking or touching the window. I mean seriously? I let them peek in at my kids. We just moved in about 8months ago. I asked if it was possible the neighbors dislike us because we're the only asian in the neighborhood? The cop laughed and said "no ma'am, we'll look into it" and left rather quickly after I said that.
What should I do??? Obviously I'll move out of this neighborhood soon but what should i do to protect myself or if they show up again at my doorsteps?

Can I use the police?
So I went to detox for my alcohol use a couple months ago. I had a tennet/roommate living with me at the time. I told him that I was going away for a few days when he was drunk and he forgot that I told him this. This guy is a complete idiot. He called the police and said I was missing! (after being gone for 4 days and back on the 4th. He had gone missing himself a little while back and was on the news.
He told the cops the last time he saw me was at 9pm the night before when it was 230 pm when I last spoke with him. He had only met me a month earlier, he didnt and doesn't know me.!!)
It says in this lease that in case of an emergency to call my father. The police smashed down my locked door to my room and went in my room and searched it, went through all my things. I was very upset about this. The police couldn't see that I was in rehab for a couple days? Do I have any case against the cops?(Assholes)
