  • Have I damaged my knee?

    Have I damaged my knee?

Best answer: Sounds like a possible ligment/tendon injury. If you cannot bend it or bear weight, you need to see a doctor and get it x-rayed.
    .
Or it might be ingrown hairs... DAHMN, dude.

  • Can you walk on a broken/fractured ankle without barely any pain?

Best answer: "Broken" and "fractured" mean the same thing. Whether you could walk on it would have to depend upon how badly it was fractured and where it was fractured. I fractured my foot, and I was able to walk with a "boot" on it without feeling pain.

  • Very tiny piece of glass stuck in foot. Is it best to just leave it in there for now or go to the doctor to get it removed?

So long story short I dropped this glass cup on my kitchen floor a couple days ago. I thought I cleaned every piece of it up but obviously I guess not lol. The piece of glass is microscopically tiny but I know it’s in there bc it hurts like hell whenever I put pressure around the area. The problem is, I also think... show more

The piece of glass is microscopically tiny but I know it’s in there bc it hurts like hell whenever I put pressure around the area. The problem is, I also think it’s deep down in there because all I see is dry blood around the area, no sign of glass :/ What’s best for my situation? Do I just wait a couple of days to see if my body pushes it out? Or should I go to the doctor right away?

I don’t personally think it was a concussion because the headache has subsided some and I am not showing many symptoms that could conlude to anything being a concussion. However, ever since then I have been having severe pain in my jaw and I have a yellowish bruise where I was hit and one a little further down. I can hardly move the left side and it is very stiff. If anyone who is/was in the medical field can tell me what’s wrong or if I should at least get it checked out by a doctor I would appreciate it greatly. I’m thinking I may have sprained it but I don’t really know.

Sunday I had another experience with something I ve had happen a lot. It was during my match but I hadn t played (since I got injured pretty soon into the match and had to sit on the bench) and during the break between halves I got a huge flood of dizzyness as my coach spoke. I had to hold onto the wall to not fall, my hearing almost muted (I could still hear muffled voices) and my team mates blurred until I saw only shapes. I also felt suuuper nauseous and felt like I was about to fall. This happened to me about 5 times in the past two months, and before that it never happened, which is why I m a little worried. I ve never actually fainted before so I don t know what that feels like, but from reading about it, it seems to come pretty close. Is it just because I don t get enough sleep, or could there be more? I will most likely make an appointment with my doctor since it scares me, but if any of you have a reasonable explanation I won t since he probably has other things to deal with.

  • How do I deal with the possibility of having a rock stuck in my foot, & skin grew over it?

Best answer: Go to the doctor again (maybe a different doctor) and ask to get an x-ray. (I once had a small stone in my knee and skin grew over it and I cut it out one day with a craft knife and the stone was not dissolved but granulated and chalky feeling) Don't recommend cutting it out yourself as it sounds large

Either way - bruise or hairline fracture - there's nothing to do about it now, and you're going to have to give the bruised bone time enough to heal completely and for the soreness to go away. That could take 2 or 3 months. The bruises on your skin have faded, but the bone is still bruised and sore.
