• Why did the telephone call show up on caller ID as "incoming call" but no name and phone number?

Best answer: The Caller ID system is kind of sloppy and sometimes the information just doesn't get there.

  • How can I locate a customer service telephone number for AAA?

Best answer: Try this number (from my AAA membership card) : 800-222-6446. Please note this number is from OHIO. There may be different numbers for different states. If you call this number and they cannot help you, they can give you a number for your location.

  • Why Do They Call It Phone Sex?

Best answer: "...they don’t call describing murder over the phone “phone murder”, now, do they?"

They might if that were a thing. In fact, people playing out murder fantasies by phone, that's probably exactly what they'd call it.

As of this tuesday I’ve been receiving calls from “no caller ID” and I honestly don’t know what to think of it. Probably isn’t a big deal but idk I wanna know for sure that it’s fake before i take drastic measures. Of the 7 times they’ve called me, I finally got the chance to answer tonight. I kept saying “hello?... hello?? ...hello??” But all they did was hang up. It’s hard to say it’s a telemarketer since there was no one talking.

  • Am I the only one who does this when leaving a message in voicemail?

Best answer: I do in the sense that if I'm not prepared to leave a message then I fumble around as to what to say. Then I feel like I left an incoherent message, lol.

  • I've been getting at least 1 call every day from a different number from a different place nowhere near me. should I be worried?

Best answer: Ignoring them might be the best option for you. Most of those random callers are scammers or telemarketers. You could read information about them at https://www.lemberglaw.com/what-are-robocalls/. You could also look up the number on Google just to see if people have reported the number as scam, and then you could... show more

It's not always the same number although i do notice on the ID calls from the same people for a awhile before it changes. Just had a call from toll free caller about 5 minutes ago and they JUST called again right now. Does anyone know how to at least reduce how much spam calls we get? Nothing like trying to rest and constantly having to hear the phone ringing all throughout the house -_- ( btw we can't just unplug the phone my grandma usually calls when she needs help with my grandpa).

  • How do I block a telemarketer that keeps calling from different numbers?

Best answer: They've gotten so good at spoofing numbers or changing numbers from which the call comes that it's impossible to block them. One other thing we've found very helpful is to "greenlight" everybody whose calls we want to answer by giving them a special ring tone. It took a while to do every friend, family member, doctor's office, etc. but now we don't pick up unless it's the special ring tone or we're expecting a call from a business.
