• German Youtubers?

I'm from Sweden and studied German a few years ago but now I'm starting to forget everything, so I thought that I should follow a few German YouTubers so that I can hear the language and learn again. I'm female, 24 and I'm interested in fitness, health, music, language, nature, lifestyle and vlogs.

  • How did Germany turn into such a hellhole?

There so many beggars in the streets that harass people. It smells like urine by the subway stations. Also the people are ******* weird. Every try to use a steam room in Germany? They literally force you to take off your clothes.

Best answer: Whoever comes up with that "age of consent" BS should read the corresponding laws. It's more complicated than you might think, and depends on the age of the partner (among other things).

Apart from that - not very much.
    - drink beer, wine and champagne, but not distilled spirits
    - may go to a cinema until 10 pm, disco until midnight
    - having sex: gets (legally) really complicated if you're 16 and your partner is under 14 or over 18 or over 21
    - can make the license for a small motorbike (A1 - up to 125 cc, 11 kW)

Best answer: Kleinheubach is located near the quadripoint of Württemberg, Hesse, Baden, and Franconia. For a longer or shorter period it has been ruled by each of them. Baden and Württemberg are forming a double-state now, Franconia meanwhile has become a part of Bavaria.
Moreover, the place is located near the changeful borderline between Lutheran and Catholic areas.

Löwenstein, now in the District of Heilbronn, was owned by a Württembergian count (Grafschaft / Gft.).
Kleinheubach was associated with Wertheim, when Wertheim became a possession of the Löwenstein counts. In that time, the Lutheran Reformation was implemented at the place.

In 1612, the Bishop of Würzburg annected the rural Löwenstein-Wertheim possessions and a recatholisation began in Kleinheubach.

Though later the place came under Badensian and Hessian rule for some time, it mostly remained associated with Würzburg to this very day.
In 1815, the region became the northwesternmost part of Bavaria. The district is now called Unterfranken (Lower Franconia), Würzburg is the capital of the district.
People who hail from Kleinheubach are Franconians, and not all of them love to be called Bavarians.

Heubach (Hassberge) is a different place.

  • Is it true that there is a city called Hamburger and a city called Hot Dog?

Best answer: There's a city called Hamburg, and a person from this city would be known as a 'Hamburger' in German.

Never heard of a city called Hot Dog, although there are two Frankfurts in Germany, and anyone from either of those would be called a 'Frankfurter' in German.
