  • Why does Chuck Schumer hate Americans?

Best answer: Chuck has no power. He's Nancy's only friend, and she just wants a posse with her. He knows that if Trump gets a wall, that it will crush the Dems morale, and any chance of success in 2020.

  • How should I dress for snowboarding if I've never been before and it's a date?

Google says 3 layer system is the best, so I put together pieces that I own. I've never snowboarded before so I want to know if this would be appropriate to wear when the guy picks me up? I will rent boots/helmet/board and stuff when I get there, hence no hat or boots. Thanks! https://i.imgur.com/zNajnIS.jpg

  • Ice skaters! If you are flat footed do you wear your shoe insoles when ice skating?

Best answer: Yes. If you have orthotics, you should definitely put them in your skates when skating. Not doing so can result in some seriously bad shin splints because of your foot rolling inward. Also, it'll be harder to keep your edge without them because your foot will flatten and roll as you put pressure on your... show more

Not doing so can result in some seriously bad shin splints because of your foot rolling inward. Also, it'll be harder to keep your edge without them because your foot will flatten and roll as you put pressure on your instep, meaning it will compromise your ability to push against and properly use your inside edge of each skate.

  • As a 25 year old adult male beginner, what would you recommend for learning to Ice Skate?

They take private lessons as well as group lessons. However, basics 1-6 is only for ages 6-15. The only other class is the teen/adult class for 16-99. Pre Skate and all of the free skate classes, however, are 6-99 years. For learning the foundations in basics 1-6 i was thinking of just getting private lessons to begin with, and once those skills are learned to go on to the free skate classes soon after. One other thing I am worried about, though, is once I do learn the skills in free skate, if I would be the only person over the age of 15 there, and quite possibly the only male. I am not sure if I would be all too comfortable with taking a class with 10 other girls that are between the ages of 8-13 and then me being the only 25 year old guy in the class. I would eventually like to compete down the road in an event appropriate for me, so I consider this a serious hobby that I am going to pursue in 2019 and beyond. So all in all, what would you recommend for a 25 year old guy learning to ice skate that wants to pick this up as a full time serious hobby?

That being said, Bryant Park is free, but you have to rent skates if you dont bring your own, and is very crowded, but has the nice little Winter Village to window shop in when you're done. I dont know about your politics and if that influences where you spend your money, but fyi Wollman Rink is a Trump owned enterprise.

I go to Prospect Park in Brooklyn on weekdays and choose Bryant Park on weekends because my family and I all have our own skates and save considerably due to their free admission policy, even though its crowded and there are often groups of people (Teens/20's from Uptown) skating very aggressively in a manner that sometimes is downright hazardous for absolute beginners. Mind you, its their skating that is aggressive, not their attitude, so you dont have to worry about altercations.
