First God is a he. Woman was easily tricked by a snake and got man thrown out of paradise with her. God had an only begotten son. No woman can lead one of God's temples. It's sexist and unequal af and yet women like my mother and sisters keep worshiping under the religion of this deity that treats them like second class citizens unless their womb is useful like Mary or they're getting raped by demons. I don't get it. Ask me and I think it's time we flip the faith on its head and restructure it from the top down. 1 - God has no genitalia, so he or she is now accurate. 2 - Nobody but Adam and Eve know what went on in that garden, so blaming the female for bringing sin to the world is out. For all we know Adam screwed up and blamed it on Eve to save his pride. 3 - Christ has no birth records, death records or pictures aside from what people imagine he was, so the messiah could've very well been a she. From now on, Julia Christ is also accurate. 4 - What divine decree said only men could be at the head of the table and women simply need to make way? **** that. Female pastors and priestess are a thing. Welcome to the new era of equality, Ladies. Enough Estrogen suppression at the sausage fest.

  • Why do religions keep talking about a 'soul', when science proved decades ago that it was a lie?

Best answer: Longer than decades. The concept of a soul can be traced back to Descartes. Not long after his discovery, which to be fair, was logical, we discovered that injuries to the brain can, in certain situations, change someone's entire personality.

This quite literally disproves the idea that the 'soul' of who you are is ever present, unchanging, and eternal. There's only one element of consciousness that's eternal, and that's the electricity within your brain, firing even as you read these words. Our brains can only sustain this energy for a time, before decaying. When we die, said energy goes back from whence it came.

But it doesn't have your brain structure anymore, yet another detail provided by science, that is the reason why everyone is a different person. Even twins. Our brain's structure is unique, and once it's gone, YOU are gone. The energy that powered your existence may eventually go back into another human, but it won't be you.

This is why the idea of a brain structure that's indestructible is so appealing. If you can preserve the brain, you can preserve your existence. Religion is not going to get us to a society that can prolong a person's mind well past a century. Science is. If you really think putting a dollar in the pity plate every sunday is going to stop you from dying, you are certifiably stupid.

  • If all sins are equal in the eyes of God, why is being gay so bad?

I'm really into a girl (I'm a girl) but I'm a Christian so I've been thinking about being gay a lot lately. The Bible says all sins are equal in the eyes of God but the stereotypical Christian believes gays go straight to hell. But why do they believe this if God sees all sin equal?

For one reason as brought out in Matthew chapter 24:7-14 talks about earthquakes, wars, food shortages and the kingdom message being preached in all the inhabitant earth. We see all this today in the world. We definitely are living in the last days. Secondly, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 talks about the attitudes of the world that we see today. We are living in critical times hard to deal with and these last days are constantly worsening. For more information visit jw.org.

Best answer: Transsexualism appears in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD, currently in its tenth edition). The ICD-10 incorporates transsexualism, dual role transvestism, and gender identity disorder of childhood into its gender identity disorder category. The World Health Organisation lists transsexualism as a mental and behavioural disorder.

However, calling it a mental disorder only means that these people should seek professional counseling to help them accept themselves. The therapy does not prevent them from changing their gender. It only makes them feel better about accepting the gender they already want.
