• What do you think of guys who own little dogs?

I brought up to my mom today I'd like a Pomeranian (they're darn cute and always super sweet and friendly, the ones I've met anyways) and she laughed and said the thought of a guy like myself being very tall and covered in tattoos with a little Pomeranian was a bit funny and very weird. Can't say I disagree to be honest, but hey, everyone loves cute dogs that basically stay like the size of puppies forever, don't they? What do any of you think though? Would you find the sight of a pretty masculine guy with a cute little dog like a chihuahua or a Pomeranian odd?

I was raised around wolf dogs that if I remember right, had "pit dog" in them, and then my first dog experience in America, was my boyfriend's pit bulls. Sweetest dogs ever. Lived to be 13 and 15 and never bit anyone who didn't deserve it. The first dog I've had as my own, is a hefty pit bull mix, and again, sweetest dog out there. I've NEVER encountered a mean pit bull that wasn't just scared. And then, after getting them to trust and like me, never had an issue with them. I feel like a lot of **** is lied about on the whole bite statistics; especially since every dog is labeled pit bull/pit bull mix. The fear is 98% irrational in my opinion.

He is qualified for a service dog and we are waiting for one, how ever i (his daughter) deal with OCD, Panic attacks and intermitted explosive disorder. I've read that when you have a service dog, no other dogs are allowed in the house. the problem is that say i took the service dog to school everyday, my dad would be without a service dog. In a situation like this would a second service dog be allowed in a single household? thanks, hope this makes sense

Hello, about 1 1/2 years ago my parents got my brother and I cats. They are sisters from the same liter. Next year I will be leaving for college and plan to register my cat, Oreo, as an Emotional Support Animal. I love her so much and would really prefer her to stay with me as my ESA. But I would feel terrible for separating them. They play together all the time and grew up together, have never been apart. Oreo is clearly more bonded to her sister than to me. But I am incredibly bonded to her, she's my baby. I don't know what to do. Even if she stays with my parents and her sister for the next few years they will still be separated at some point in their lives, because my brother and I won't live together forever. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to be without her but I don't want to separate them.

They're ugly looking with huge eyes that look like they could pop out at any moment. How are they even a proper dog, they should be classed as a type of rat. I can only assume people have them because they are too lazy to get a proper dog, when I say proper dog I mean, Labradors, golden retrievers, huskies, boxers, German shepherds, Malamutes, Staffies etc. So can anyone shed some light as to why they would own a Chihuahua?

  • Is this cat dying? What can I do?

Best answer: There is no way to know what is going on. It sounds like he got hit by a car and has internal injuries. All you can do is bring him to a vet, tell them you found him and he's a stray and let the vet decide what to do. Thanks for caring

  • What could be wrong with my cat?

It's good that you are taking your kitty to the vet. They can tell you for sure what is going on. If your cat had some trouble breathing and it was off and on then I think it would be asthma but if he is in pain then something is definitely not right. My cat has been through something similar but she had a stomach infection. She also had some weird breathing but that's because of her asthma.

I wish you and your cat good luck with the vet!

I have known several people who have adopted German Shepherds, because they're "tough" and "cool dogs" and that's it. They keep them tied in their yard. And they feed them and give them water. That's it. That is the degree of their interaction with their dogs. People do this with their pit bulls as well, and it drives me equally as crazy. I don't get it. So you want to look cool, by neglecting your dog, and getting one that will probably go apeshit and eat someone's face because they've lived an awful life tied up and don't know how to handle people? I just, don't understand this. Probably just the area I live in, but good god, I see it all the time, and even know people who have done that, my ex boyfriend had a Shepherd and a pit bull that he just chained up as "guard dogs." Has anyone else noticed this? And if you do this, why are you a jerk? Why would you leave a dog on a rope or chain, to just sit there and be brought food every so often as their only source of seeing their owner?
