• If about to go bankrupt, what happens if you liquidate everything you own and put it in Bitcoins then you’re ok?

Best answer: You can put your money wherever you want, but when you claim bankruptcy, you must state all assets. Forget to mention those bitcoins and you can go to jail for fraud. You wont go to jail for failing to pay debts (we don't have debtor's prisons anymore), you will go to jail for committing fraud. Think... show more

Best answer: Use an online calculator to figure out how much your monthly mortgage payment is going to be - include estimated escrow amounts for insurance and property taxes.

Then each month, when you make your rent payment, deposit the difference between rent and your projected mortgage payment into a separate savings account. For example if your rent is $800 per month and you think your mortgage payment is going to be $1500 per month, then you put $700 per month into savings. Do this the same day you pay rent so that it simulates making a single payment and forces you to plan ahead to have the full amount ready when its due.

This prepares you for making the larger payment, proves to yourself that you can do it, AND builds a savings account toward a down payment.

Best answer: Yes, you will get it when they do payroll, unless you have property of theirs such as a uniform etc. You can also expect quitting without notice to haunt your life since you won't get a good reference from this company.

I am currently 17 and the reason I am asking this is because when I turn 18 I get around 40k, which is the best head-start I could ever ask for. I would love to stay at home with my mom forever, but my older brother also got a large sum of money when he turned 18 and ended up doing nothing with it because he was supporting the family, and not really in a good way because it was mostly just expensive meals and other unimportant expenses. A whole 40k gone on family members borrowing, and I will help my family because I love them but I do not wish to have every penny gone with nothing to show for it. I've done lots of research into moving out and i'm looking for second opinions on the matter. Thank you for your time <3

  • Is it impossible to actually own a house, should I rent until I die?

Best answer: Nope. You gotta start small and old and work from there. Best answer: Nope. You gotta start small and old and work from there. There more of a handyman you are, the more things you can fix....and the better your place becomes "to other people who are not as handy as you are". And you look out for other bargains that may be bigger and newer than what you now own, and you snag those deals and then flip your home for a profit which is just paying for your work you put into the home. You count your wages as = nothing...so it is the cost of materials you are trying to recover(hopefully) House prices very rarely go down. The little shack you bought for $20K increased in value because your town was a hot bed of development activity(you can only hope)and now the house and property is worth $200K [10 years later.] These a long term investments.
.Calculate the rent you would have paid in 10 years. What do you have to show for it?

.Some people don't know how to scrimp and save. That is the hardship you got to go through. Some don't want to do that. Can you live in non popular towns? Can you foresee the future? Can you commit to a single goal? Can you always guarantee you will always be working.? (When the factory closes, it does not matter to you because you have found other work already) You are that flexible and adaptable to changes in the economy no matter what...are you that type of person? Are you an entrepreneur that you will find money from all sources, such as take in "boarders to rent out part of the house to them for a time period" which is a short term inconvenience but that helps with paying some bills".

If you are not that flexible a person then you rent till you die.
