  • Why does my daughter hate me for lovin baseball?

Best answer: Because a wedding is a once in a life time thing to the person she’s getting married too and a baseball game shouldn’t come in the way of your daughters special moment... also you can record a baseball game and watch it later.

ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that the Dodgers have all but finalized a deal that would bring Manny Machado to the Left Coast. Granted, any 54-year old man who calls himself "Buster" is an idiot so the jerk has also reported that the Phillies remain in contention for acquiring Machado. The Dodgers took a huge hit earlier this season when they lost shortstop Corey Seager for the season to Tommy John surgery and Machado will fill the gaping hole he left behind in the lineup. Seager should be back for the start of next season and with Justin Turner signed through 2020 the question is whether or not the team will try to sign Machado beyond this season. The Dodgers could be pulling out the stops after being edged in last year's Wold Series but will Machado be the man who leads them to their first World Series title in 30 years?

  • Would this be considered fan interference?

An outfielder on the visiting team locks on to an incoming fly ball, at the warning track, when a fan in the front row behind him yells, “I GOT IT!” causing the outfielder to back away from the ball!! Also, has “Hey batta batta SWING!!” ever caused batters to strike out?

  • How do I get over my disappointment and distress that I did not get tickets to the MLB All-Star game tonight?

Best answer: Depends on your reasoning for failing to get tickets.

Plenty of tickets can still be purchased on Stubhub (and other resellers, I'm sure)

So is your failure based on your lack of knowledge? Your lack of money?
The ways to get over disappointment would vary depending on the reasons for it.

  • Will the World Baseball Classic be played in the Dominican Republic someday?

I'm Dominican and would love for them to play there. I understand that one of the requirements is that the stadiums must meet MLB standards. I heard that they are making upgrades to Estadio Quisqueya which is where the Licey Tigers and the Leones play.

I'm 20. I played baseball from the age of 5 to the age of 17 and I was really good at it. Baseball got me a scholarship to a really good college, but a month before I was supposed to go to college, I got in a bad car accident that really messed me up psychically. I had to take a gap year from school while I recovered and I lost my scholarship. I'm like 98 percent okay now (I never had any brain damage or anything, it's just my body that got messed up) and I go to junior college instead of a university now. I could be at a university if I wanted to, but life changed so I decided on junior college close to home instead. This coming year will be my third year there. The junior college I go to has a pretty good baseball team and the coach knows who I am because I made a name for myself in high school so he's always trying to get me to join the team. I want to do it because I love baseball and I miss it, I know I'd still be the best on the team even after my accident, but would it be lame? I feel like people would feel sorry for me and be like, "oh yeah...we all thought that kid was gonna be a huge baseball star and now he's just playing community college baseball....how pathetic" you know? Should I just not play to save myself from embarrassment or should I go for it?
