I have money in my card so I'm not sure why its not working, I even asked to use my partners card in which she has a totally different bank, and ours are in no way connected, but it continues to say the same thing,, it does charge my card, but then refunds it immediately. Does anyone know a valid website that they've used to get a food handlers certificate valid to use in Texas.

  • Can I get in trouble for the way I handled this situation like this at work today?

I’m a TJ Maxx cashier. Today, I was ringing up a woman, she was buying a dress for $29.99 but she said she saw a sign on the 4-way rack that said everything was $12.99. But I told her that the women’s coordinator was in the middle of moving clothes around and changing the signs. The woman asked for the manager, but... show more

But I told her that the women’s coordinator was in the middle of moving clothes around and changing the signs. The woman asked for the manager, but I called the coordinator over because I figured coordinator is just a step below manager anyway. My coordinator basically repeated what I told her, she still wasn’t having it. So I finally called the manager over, who explained exactly what we told her, and she STILL wasn’t having it! So she threatened to report us to corporate and specifically call ME out!!!

  • Question about package I ordered?

Best answer: Economy shipping is just their title for the least expensive shipping method. The seller could use FEDEX Ground, UPS, USPS or whoever when they ship the package. A lot of times, USPS Priority Mail is the cheapest method.

So choosing EBay's Economy Shipping will mean the seller uses USPS Priority Mail.

So I need to send a check in the mail and I’ve never done it before and I looked it up and I’m not sure what to do so I just buy an envelope and stamp, write the info on it and then drop it off in one of those blue boxes. Is that it? How do you pay for it is it just the stamp how does that work. And yes i am dumb.

So I recently got a new babysitter and this is the first year I ve needed her to fill out our dependent fsa form to get reimbursed for childcare while we worked. She spoke with her accountant and is refusing to give us the tax id number that the form requests. In the course of that conversation, she informed me for the first time that she doesn t intend to claim the childcare money from us and other parents as income. So I called our insurance company who services the fsa and they indicated that a social security number and signature are acceptable in lieu of tax id. I ve requested that from the babysitter, but she seems hesitant to provide that also. I ve read up on what the government requires you to do in this situation, which is fill out form 2441 and indicate they wont provide the information. Does anyone know how I can show due diligence to the insurance company so that I can get reimbursed for this money? The person I spoke to gave me mixed messages and didn t seem sure. I have images of all the checks I wrote to this babysitter, her name, and her address in case she qont give me any information at all I clouding an itemized bill. Thanks

  • Do my subcontractors for my remodeling company just have a low IQ? How to solve this problem? They won’t cover floors even when docked pay?

So our company sells jobs for drywall, or painting, or any other trade. Most of our crews (both employees and subs) are excellent, and my company that I own has a great reputation. We almost always get everything right. However, one of my crews (meaning one of my subcontracted crews) seems unable to comprehend even the most basic messages. For example, they did a painting project with a bunch of medical equipment. Even though it was made clear to them that all floors needed to be covered with drop cloths and all equipment covered with plastic by them, and we made it VERY CLEAR that the equipment was somewhat expensive... They STILL didn’t cover the floors or equipment. They were supposed to get $6000, and now they are probably not getting any of it because it’s probably going to be going towards the damages. And they KNOW this. They even signed subcontractor agreements with my company, which state if a subcontractor damages items or floors in a home, that they’re responsible for covering the full costs of damages. I just have to wonder, how could they be so stupid? They always wine about being broke and not having enough money, but they have such low IQs that they can’t even cover the floor and now they are even more broke. I’m honestly disgusted and sick to my stomach how they could be so mind numbingly stupid. But why are some people so darn stupid?

  • Is the cheque book obsolete or will it’s use continue for the next 10 years or so?

Have cheque books had their day and died out completely or do they still have their uses, e.g. for the elderly and the computer illiterate and/or people that can’t afford technology? I personally think they should remain alongside digital payment options just for simplicities sake.

  • USPS delivered my package to the wrong address?

Best answer: You have to contact the shipper or store where you purchased the merchandise and get your money back because it was not delivered to you and it went to someone else. You can open a dispute with your credit card company while it is being investigated.

  • Can I take $10,000 in one s to my bank for a cashiers check all in 1 trip?

Best answer: You might want to give your bank a heads up on that as to when you'll be coming in. Tell them what you'll be doing.

If they have one of those cash counting machines, it shouldn't be any big deal. But check with them first anyway as a courtesy.
