Yes I'm in 11th grade and there's a really awkward girl in my class. Without any doubt the most weird person I have ever seen and I wonder why she is like that. She has been in the class with me since 3 years and hasn't changed a bit since then. She doesn't talk to anyone, really never. She can't speak properly. Try to talk to her and she just looks down and mumbles some gibberish, it's so hard to understand any words. She doesn't respond when called on by a teacher. She blushes all the time for no reason. Her hands are shaking very often and she's constantly fidgeting with them. She always sits in the bathroom stall during lunch break. Also she can't look at people. If you try to look into her eyes or just her face she quickly turns her head away or looks down. Really weird hm? She also cries over trivial things quite often even though she must be like 17 already. Last week she started crying when a teacher raised his voice at her because she didn't answer and today another guy went to her desk and looked into her face on purpose to make her flinch. Everyone laughed which made her burst into tears. Why is she so weird? Do you think she is mentally ill?

I am a senior in high school. One of my teachers is currently giving me a grade of D that I think is ridiculous. There are three reasons I say this: 1)the grade does not reflect my active participation and leadership in the class. 2) Out of the 19 assignments we ve had so far this semester, 3 of the easiest assignments are worth 19 percent of the class grade. 3) Those 3 easy assignments were collected with the first 2 weeks of school. I did not turn them in, but I have them done now. Effectively, this means that my grade was doomed to be less than a B because I made a small mistake by not turning in 3 things within the first couple weeks of school. I will talk to the teacher again, but I am wondering what I can do if he doesn t let me make up my grade. Can I challenge the grade? If so, how? Can I sue?

  • Ive never had a day off school in my life and Im really ill, bad migraines and throwing up everywhere but my mum wont let me stay home help?

Best answer: If you are throwing up then you are contagious. It sounds like you have the flu. Let mom know that if you don't go to the doctor's you could die. Just refuse to go and if you need to call the police and ask for help.

  • Is bad roads/weather a reason to be off school?

At the moment the roads are really bad and there’s freezing rain, my dad can’t find out if the school is open right now or not and I was wondering if the school WAS open, would the school accept that as a reason to not be there? The roads are really bad and it’s a 20 minute drive.

I only have $300 in my bank account from working at a Tree Farm last month. I do volunteer at the Animal Shelter once in a while, take photographs for my local nature parks, and exercise ...but I still feel lazy when 8 out of 10 times all I do after school is homework and watch TV for 6 hours. I applied to a golf course in July but they didn't need me, but is it sad that I don't have a job at my age?

But then again, other kids had it far worse than I did. The bullies were mild with me compared to some others. I was attacked maybe once or twice a week. Some kids got it two or three times a day. The picking dropped off sharply in 9th grade. By the end of 10th grade, I was friends with the former bullies. In the 11th and 12th grade, the students were more mature. Also I think they worried about self preservation because I was bigger than everyone else by then. The worst I would have ever done was give a bully a fat lip. My father had an arsenal of guns, and I had my own handgun. No I would NEVER consider bringing a gun to school. I guess it was lucky for them that I am not that type.

Best answer: Yes, it's a start. Now they need to roll this out through the whole education system and increase the age limit to 16.

There are other middle schools in the district, and all the kids end up in this one high school. It's so crowded now, with so many people changing classes in the hallways. I was so used to the teacher taking us to lunch, and now, I have to eat lunch by myself. I don't have anyone to sit by or talk to and literally sit at one of the picnic tables outside, underneath the tree. It is soooo embarrassing, and I have to deal with it for 85 more days. :/ But the worst part is, I don't want to talk to anyone at all. So it's something that I want to do yet also hate doing.
