  • Why do things cost with .99 at the end?

Best answer: It’s a marketing tactic if i say something is 4.99 you’ll be like it not even five dollars and maybe be more inclined to pick it up. However if something is 5.00 then maybe it will make you feel less inclined to pick it up and a higher chance you won’t buy it I also think there’s something psychological about it... show more

Best answer: Turn it off and keep it off. When they first came out, a few decades ago, they were all the rage - people didn't know that they were dangerous and the manufacturers didn't want us to know. They just wanted their products to sell. In more recent years, air cleaners have been produced that produce a considerably less amount of ozone. An Ionizer is just another word for and ozone producer, which may or may not be a part of an air cleaner. Most air cleaners do not include ionizers at all anymore, because there is no safe amount of ozone. Some companies still include it, but the ozone they produce is a very small amount. Still, it is bad. An air cleaner that contains an ionizer should have a feature that will turn it off. Why have it at all? Ionizers clump dust particles together so that they are sucked into an air cleaner in clumps, instead of in smaller dust particles. Either way, the dust gets sucked in and cleaned. So it is not necessary at all. Lastly, ozone kills birds. Never use them in a house with birds. They adversely affect our respiratory system too but birds have a much more sensitive system and will wake up dead.

  • Do you believe that Dick's Sporting Goods store franchise is going to lose business and fail in a few years because of not selling guns in ?

Best answer: Though they may lose some business from it, I have never seen Dick's Sporting at a go-to place for weaponry. I personally see them as more of a sports gear, workout clothing, camping gear type of place. I personally see them as more of a sports gear, workout clothing, camping gear type of place. With private named retailers and businesses such as Cabela's, which offer much wider choices of guns and ammo, Dick's will end up being the store people go to for smaller purchases as listed above and the other retailers will take over their gun sale business.

  • Does anyone else hate freeview tv?

Best answer: Sky is just as bad, if not worse. I've pretty much given in with broadcast tv because of the intrusive adverts you mention and the fact there is never anything worth watching.
