• My back just popped and now I can't move at all?

Best answer: sitting probably isn't helping the matter. Grab some Ibuprofen and an ice pack, and lay down. The sooner you deal with the inflammation that is pressing on the nerve, the better off you will be.

Best answer: It could be normal, but if it's bothersome and you can afford it, you should schedule an appointment with a doctor.

Best answer: Why is there shame in wearing a wrist bandage for an injury? If that is the truth, so be it. If others shame you, the shame is on them for their lack of forgiveness or compassion for your pain. Get the bandage and wear it as you need it, do not make a big deal about it yourself. If they ask, give them a simple answer that you injured it and let that be the end of the topic. If they ask more questions, explain that your injury is your own business and not theirs. If they shame you, then you know the lack of compassion in their hearts and make the knowledge of their lack of compassion as "Square 1" in how you treat them in return. But wear the bandage. My sister did not properly bandage her finger and as a result it healed wrong and she now needs an operation to fix it right, where if she had worn the proper bandage it would have healed right in the first place. Do this as you need and if you have people shaming you for your pain, ask to be transferred to a different school. Good luck, but wear the bandage and heal properly, as this is most important for your own body.

  • Are cigarette burns permanent?

Best answer: Yes. Because they go through all layers of the skin, it will cause a small but very identifiable scar that lasts.

All of the airbags in my car were deployed. I felt fine, but the paramedics insisted in taking me in on a crash cart. Anyways, i was driven to a med center and stayed there for 3-4 hrs and was given the full works (iv drips, finger prick, ct scan, etc). I guess i was a bit in shock because i felt mentally fine, but my body was shaking for 2 hrs after the accident. Anyways, they gave me the okay to leave and found nothing wrong. I felt fine except for some minor discomfort on my left side whenever i sneezed, coughed, or twisted my torso to my right. The morning after, the symptoms increased and i felt mildly worse.

  • What does it mean when I had a fall from bed, hit my head really hard, injured, tell my family and all they do is laugh?

Best answer: I wouldn't have thought it was funny, people are insensitive.
You need to see a doctor, you could have a concussion which has long term effects on your health and can cause problems later on down the road, as well as bleeding on the brain, both serious.

I have a small indent on the back of my head that I just now noticed. Is it a vitamin deficiency? It doesn’t hurt. But sometimes I feel pressure by my temples.

The cut isn't deep, just enough to cause a small bead of blood and that's it and it wasn't a puncture wound. Its a cut that when I pulled the skin away to clean inside the wound better it wasn't very deep. I cleaned the cut with warm water and soap and used hydrogen peroxide to clean it further and put a band aid on it. But I haven't received a tetanus shot in a very long time so I'm worried since the box opener has been used to open other boxes and sits on a shelf in our storage closet with the blade withdrawn into its metal sheath. I don't have a weak or compromised immune system and am not on any kind of medication or suffer from any kind of medical problems.

A couple days ago on my way to work, the outside part of my left foot started to bother me a lot. I couldn't put any pressure on my foot while taking a full step without a deep stabbing pain shooting through the outside of my foot to right under the outside of my ankle. I'm still able to walk and put pressure on my foot if I walk strictly on my toes and I can stand on two feet with weight evenly distributed without much discomfort. There was and is minimal swelling on my foot and it was not an acute injury but one I noticed the day after strenuous exercise. With minimal research I've narrowed my injuries down to pernoneal tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, a cuboidal fracture, or a stress fracture on my 5th metatarsal but the lack of swelling and the absence of pain when stretching my foot in any direction or when pressing down on the injured area has confused me. What is going on?

  • Will sand paper work for self harm scare.?

Best answer: A cut goes deep in the skin. Sandpaper will only take off the top layer, so when this huge raw mark eventually heals, the cuts will still be there.
A pointless exercise in my view.
