  • When your sleeping do you like to be warm or cool?

Best answer: In the Winter, I like to be snug with a down comforter, and I crack the window by my bed so the cold air surrounds my face. It sounds counter productive but that is the way I like it.

  • Vegans be honest. How many of you eat animal products in secret?

Maybe you'll sneak in a cookie or some pancakes or a slice of cake. You know you do it.

  • Help with new born baby please!!!?

I just had my baby last Thursday and I never knew it would be so difficult. I'm 20 and I'm trying my hardest. How do I put her to sleep at night? What can get rid of her gas? Is it gas when she stretches out and squirms frequently? What is the most comfortable way to lay her or hold her? Anything you did... show more

No rude comments about how 'stupid' it is to stock up. Me and my husband both work full time and are going to have the additional expense of $500/month for daycare after maternity leave. We are trying to avoid having to buy diapers while paying for daycare. Amazon.com has the economy sizes onsale every now and then for half off! A $42 box is $19 if you catch the sales! And you can end up only paying .08 a diaper! Well after our baby shower we ended up with WAYYY too many. I have: 160 newborns (I think its too much) 1500 size 1 (wayy too much!!) 660 size 2s 400 size 3s. How many size 1s should I exchange? Or should I just wait until we run out of diapers and then exchange them all at once? Does anyone remember how many size 1s they used?

So I specifically put on my profile that I work with toddlers and older, because honestly I'm just not comfortable with infants or children who aren't potty trained. So the family that hired me was awesome but I was a bit blindsided when the dad told me the 3, almost 4 year old is still on diapers. Not even pull ups: like straight up baby diapers. He even hangs off his changing table when I change him because he's too big for it....how old is too old? Because I felt that at almost 4 being in diapers was odd. But then again, I'm not a parent so I don't know. Thoughts?

My soon to be 11 month old has been breastfed from birth. He's become more and more active . As a teenage mother I'm trying to catch up on school work but I'm loosing motivation lately. My child will not take a bottle what so ever , he will cry and whine until I give in . Through out the day ,all he wants is to be carried . I've lost SO much weight due to breastfeeding , with low self-esteem and insecurities on top of that. I can never have time to myself . It's to the point I want to cry every minute . When I leave him to run to the store with my mother or relative . He cries non stop . So i rarely ever get help. I can't do school work , nothing . And i don't want to give up on school . I understand he may not be ready but I can't take it any longer. How can i wean him safely? What bottles or cups should I buy for him ? TIA

Best answer: Know that it is temporary. My baby sounded a LOT like yours until he turned 3 months a few weeks ago. It was terrible and I would not wish a colicky baby on my worst enemy. Now, he still has bad times, days but overall he is completely different and content and happier. A baby carrier really helped me so I could have my hands free. It was not possible to put him down for 3 months. I worried it would be like this forever. Its not, he is fine in bouncer or mat for 15 min stretches so I can make a meal.

In the meantime, call you OB like now,she can suggest a therapist and/or meds because it sounds like you may need them. I too needed something. Can you look for a mothers helper? Someone to stay and entertain the kids while you sleep or do homework in your home. I used a teenager (16) occasionally because I was in the house. Any younger cousins or neighbors that want a few buck?
