• Las Vegas hotels on the strip??

Let's say I arrive at a hotel at 10AM and normal check in time is 3PM. Will they let me check in or do I have to wait? If I hand them a $10 tip will they check me in?

Those clubs close at 3 or 4AM, but after-hours is just starting at Drai's at The Cromwell. You can look up which are the most popular. In general, like any other adult visiting, you have to choose from the many offerings of entertainment, food, shopping, and photo-op sites that we have to offer, and with conventioneers, and other adult visitors, don't think of yourselves as any older than anyone else. There are Gentlemen's Clubs (strip clubs) that are not on-Strip and again, research ahead if that is what you want.

Do you venture off-strip for good restaurants at better prices?
    There are superb restaurants

Meal at 4AM? Find your way north strip to the Peppermill.
First Friday of each month is a downtown Las Vegas event.
It's all about what you guys WANT to do, as here in Las Vegas we judge no one.
Recreational marijuana is for sale now; just not for public use. Gun shooting ranges - no license required. Anyone can try an AK-47.

This is a metro city of two million people with local residents like anywhere else, but also catering to the 40 million visitors a year.
It is an adult playground. Drinking alcohol outside is legal in plastic containers (we don't want broken glass). There are bars in malls without walls and I think that is unique. The simple hamburger has become a Las Vegas specialty with just about every chain in the USA with a restaurant here and every celebrity chef with their offering.

I loved Mat Franco, the magician. There are booths selling the leftover tickets to same and next day performances at discount

and a variety of discounting sites

Of course, see the Bellagio Fountains and inside atrium.
There are 7 permanent Cirque Du Soleil shows, and I still think Beatles Love is best.
There are lounge shows mostly comedy, bartenders doing their thing, and street performers.
You can visit the downtown Fremont Street.
Shopping as fashion and discount of your choice.
Spas for a massage, manicure, and pedicure.
The key to your visit is YOU choose that interests what interests you, and as long as you have money to spend nobody judges you because our goal (I live in Las Vegas) is for you to enjoy your visit and return one day. We each have our preferences, including the off-strip GLBTQ bars with extended happy hours, a welcoming crowd, drag shows, and hours of beer and liquor in a bottomless glass for $10 or less many evenings. Happens to be the cheapest drinking in the city.

If you want to go bowling, do it Las Vegas style

I think the Nevada law is 15 or 16 as the magic number of slot machines to become a casino, and a casino never closes so 24 hours a day, every day, drinking and gaming are available.

Although far off strip gets expensive by taxi, and even with Uber/Lyft, we do have a well developed transportation system and you don't need to stay on-strip for everything. Arawan, the referenced restaurant, is in an old eclectic shopping center at 953 E Sahara 0.8 miles (1.3km) east of the SLS hotel at North Strip, and SLS reachable by Monorail or other.
Exit surveys show over 90% want to visit again and part of it is you decide what interests you.

  • I found casino chips from the Venetian in a handbag leftover from a trip a year ago. Can I use them in 2018 when we go back?

Best answer: Take them to the cashier and explain you forgot to cash them out during your last visit. If they're legit checks they should either cash them out for you or give you new checks that you could cash out later on.

I live near North Strip, in a very nice development, but not for raising kids, and around the walled and gated community is waiting for revitalizing. In North Las Vegas, you need to name an exact spot, and it can be considered and evaluated.
