  • Am I allowed to ask an employer if they will pay me for transportation?

There is a new Costco that opened up and they are hiring. It costs me $4 to get there by bus and $4 back. My city doesn't have many stores that are hiring, most tourist stores and they only hire people who they know. Can I call a store up and ask them if they will pay,

  • Would I get in legal trouble for posting recipes online?

I'm making a webcomic and I thought it would be neat to post recipes for the different dishes that my characters eat. The recipes I didn't just invent would be from magazines and cookbooks I've gotten over the years. Is anyone going to sue me if I post them?

Then, someone who hears but doesn't speak the language says in English, "So, what are you guys talking about? If it's something dirty, then you guys need to stop." Is that violating the family's right of free speech? I mean, you can't understand what they're saying and it's a public area. How are they hurting you with their speech? Also, this is for my law-related studies class.

Someone other than the victim can report matters to the police. But the victim usually is the main witness. And if the victim does not want to cooperate (i.e., they don't want to "press charges"), it's often not worth it for the police and prosecutor to pursue the matter.

I'm not allowed any breaks (no, before you ask, it is not illegal in Georgia...) and I cant leave my desk for more than a brief bathroom break. Any suggestions on how I can keep occupied all day? Also I experience quite a bit of back pain due to sitting at the desk all day, any advice on that would be appreciated as well! :) Thanks, hope everyone's having a great day!
