She is always calling him on his cell for "help" and at a company dinner thing I went to with him, she kept touching and flirting with him. I heard from one of his coworkers that she even invited him to lunch. He assures me that he is just being a good mentor, but I want him to get rid of the little tramp. How can I get through to him?

  • Amazon Shipping?

Best answer: Could go either way. With 3 separate estimated delivery dates, it's pretty safe to assume that it will be 3 separate deliveries.

I work alongside a bunch of new staffers we hired, most of whom are millennials. I process refunds for a company that makes personal care products. I wear more hats than just that, but that is one of the key hats that I wear regularly. Processing refunds is onerous, but not unmanageable. Just gets boring after a while. These new staffers are working to make the process more in-depth, and it would require me to collect more data on the refund than I already do. In my opinion, these data would technically be helpful but not significantly so. More importantly, considering the amount of extra effort it would take for me to obtain such data, it makes sense to just blow it off and move on without it. I explained this to the new staffers in the department, but one of them thinks he knows everything and says "Just because something is cumbersome, doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. It would be good to have that data." I said "It would be good, BUT we need to ask ourselves if it is worth the extra effort on my part. In this case, it wouldn't be. Let's keep it as simple as possible." The process we currently have has worked just fine for us for many years. I can certainly understand millennials wanting to change processes to make them SIMPLER, or more automated, but why make it more complicated??
