• Why do we allow vehicles on our road that do over 70mph?

insurers are introducing high premiums for convicted drivers, and you can cut your premium with a black box where they check you don't speed

like others, I am seeing the most excessive speed violation in 30mph limits, where I see cars doing 60+ on an industrial estate I cycle through, next to a school with kids on the pavement.

  • Can I teach myself how to drive?

I’m 22 and I have a decent amount of money to buy a car. I have tried driving a few times. I don’t want to get driving instructions. If I have a licensed driver in the car and I just practice, is that good enough?

  • If you move to a state for just a few months, do you have to get a new drivers license if you plan on driving?

Best answer: The issue is one of residency; if you are working in the state of Georgia as a permanent employee then you must meet the driver license change criteria; if you are a permanent resident elsewhere, temporarily working in Georgia and maintaining residence in another state you can keep your existing license.

There wasn't an accident or anything I was stupid and didn't see any car. I know it was my fault for not seeing. I saw the car turn its hazards on but then it kept driving. I assumed everything was okay since I didn't hit him. I saw him go behind me and I think he was talking on the phone to the police or recording my plate number. I know this is a stupid question but I was wondering what this will affect? It's completely my fault for missing the car but what kind of trouble will I be in? I'm a learners and I had someone beside me.

It would probably have to be a sports car that I find visually appealing, but with bulletproofing like the armoured vehicles that national figures use. Other features would be welcome too.

Would 15 thousand dollars be a reasonable price to charge? What about 20 thousand dollars? The engines would last on average 500,000 to 600,000 miles and would be guarantee'd to last 300,000 miles.

  • Which car brands are best for bumpy roads?

Best answer: Daimler S class or Audi A8. Either is available with air suspension, although I think only the S class can have the "look ahead" feature that detects potholes in front of you and preadjusts the suspension accordingly.

It was impounded after being stopped- it was used as a mobile meth lab. It was cleaned and all paraphernalia removed. The impound guy said that nobody wants these RVs, which is why they were all decaying in his lot, because no one would ever buy them. I'm the second person to even ask about one, ever, he said. Best answer: 99.9% of the time, it's the driver. In the vid you're referring to, it's definitely the idiot behind the wheel. Here's what is happening in that video...

That guy wasn't just shifting, he was playing Race Car Driver. His goal was to get the vehicle from zero up to stupid-fast as quickly as possible, which requires abusing the hell out of the entire machine. And he's driving a very powerful machine.

When a vehicle accelerates, it tilts back due to physics (inertia, torque, gravity, etc). When it accelerates really quickly, the tilt is exaggerated because more force is applied. When the power from the engine is suddenly shut off (when he jams the clutch pedal down), the vehicle immediately starts slowing down. Whenever a vehicle is slowing down, it tilts forward. Same physics. Then when he shifts gears and pops the clutch out, it tilts back again.

When I had a manual transmission, I got so good at shifting I could pass the coffee cup test. That's when you have a full cup of coffee on your lap (no lid) and none gets spilled as I go through the gears. It's nearly impossible to do that when accelerating like that guy was.

  • Why are all cars and trucks 4 stroke not 2 stroke?

Best answer: 2 stroke requires more frequent motor rebuilds and lubrication in the fuel itself which creates more emissions .. the design is cheaper to build and may offset the price of maintenance, but its just not as practical the way things are ..

Best answer: When finished your turned wheel should be just touching the curb.

You have to be the same distance from the curb edge as on any other park.
    Oklahoma law specification is:
every vehicle stopped or parked upon a roadway where there
are adjacent curbs shall be so stopped or parked with the right hand wheels of such vehicle parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches of the right-hand curb.

The direction you turn the wheel depends on if uphill or downhill park. FOR THE TEST it is a good idea to also use the extra hand or foot emergency brake at completion of park.
REMEMBER to disengage this brake before you continue on your test.

The test ends with your Final Park at the testing place. DO that one correct too.DO NOT SPEED in the parking area those last few minutes of your test.
