I was driving towards eleds on the M1 last night at around 11am. No cars on road. Pretty empty. I was cruising at around 80mph or slightly less for most of the journey. There was a car behind me by about 100 yards. For those who drive this road will know that once you enter the M1 section where it leads to Leeds City center. It turns into a 50mph zone. Although there are no road works or traffic. Especially at 11pm on a Sunday. At this point I entered the 50mph at 70ish mph and let the engine braking so the job to take me to around 55mph/57mph and shortly after driving at around 52mph until I exited the motorway to city center loop. Meanwhile the car behind me slowed down a little quicker than I did upon entering the 50mph zone. Still driving faster than speed limit though. After about a mile from entering the 50mph motorway zone, the car drove past me in the middle lane. Turns out it was a BMW X5 with those bright luminescent colours. At the point of them catching up to me and taking over. I was driving at 50-53mph max while they were doing 60ish mph. I m sort of restless and worried thinking why they didn t pull me there and then.... Should I be expecting a letter? Thanks guys.

  • Is it me, or does Google Maps fail to always inform the driver to change lanes?

I was driving in the left lane and maps didn't inform me that I should be on the right lane. It didn't inform me and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Because of that, I had to go through the tolled Hugh L. Carey Tunnel.

  • Anyone else feel uncomfortable driving on tight, narrow lanes?

I've driven through the williamsburg bridge like 3 or 4 times now and I still feel uncomfortable. The lanes are so narrow that you could literally reach out the window and touch the other cars: https://youtu.be/GvF-PaOpKSQ?t=82

  • Whats the average price you pay when "grabbing" a Morning Coffee when your rushing in transit?

Best answer: Just under 2 bucks but I rarely grab one on-the-go. • Do you have to drive in bus lanes when they are not in hours of operation?

Best answer: That depends totally upon the road traffic laws in whichever mystery country you reside in.

But in the UK, no, you are not obliged to do so. Which is great for me, as most UK drivers never look at the hours of operation for bus lanes and I get everywhere much faster by using them when they are non-operational.

Best answer: maybe doc him a star (if everything else was good) and if you can leave a comment, point out it smelled like cigarettes.
