Okay, so you don't need to go to hospital unless you have double vision or so. Here are some tips though:
*You are undeniably developing one hell of a black eye. It will definitely get worse during the next few days, it may swell shut, grow and so on. But it has to get worse to get better!
*Right now there is a very nasty bump on your eye brow and eye lid. You want to put come cold compress on that thing gently. It will help with pain and maybe help prevent the black eye from getting super bad.
*Have lots of rest, liquids, vitamins.
*Don't poke or touch the shiner, any pressure will just make it worse.
*You might want to take a few days off because walking on the street with this big black eye really makes people turn their head.
*Ready yourself for about a month of an ugly bruise on that eye.
    Ouch!!

  • Foot turning purple?

Best answer: How did you injure it? When? Can you move it? What is your pain level?

If you want to check it out, go to an urgent care or ER. If you think it is just a bruise, ice it.

It bled a good amount but it stopped. Anyways after a few days it feels kind of weird first one is it feels like someone is just squeezing my finger/or tons of pressure is on it and then second is I can feel it but I can’t feel it?? Like I touch things and I can sorta feel them but not completely. Plus when I touch my finger with my other finger it feels like there’s a weird film over it. Will I be okay?

Best answer: Well, that's a terrible picture and you didn't give enough details. But I'm assuming your actual wound is *under the bandage. So if you didn't fall or get hit really hard, the bruising is from a bleeder-- a leaking blood vessel they weren't able to cauterize/seal. That's definitely not normal, but really nothing can be done about it. As long as you're not feeling severe pain, heat or swelling, it'll likely be fine. The blood will eventually be absorbed, but it takes longer than a normal bruise to dissipate.

As for the numbness, don't be alarmed by that yet. You've got superficial nerve damage which happens with any deep laceration. The nerves will probably heal, but it can take months before you know how much sensation you'll get back.

I just don’t think a Davis enough, it’s not healing really, I CANT Step on it, and when I walk on my other toes it hurts. Plus at school I could trip over someone, or someone could step on my shoe. Idk what to do. Does anyone have any advice?

I apparently passed out for about a couple minutes the first time, then again right after for 10 seconds. I still get headaches all the time now. Is it possible for me to still be recovering from the heat stroke and still getting symptoms?

To heal a mallet finger, a splint is required to be worn 24/7 for around 84 days to heal it. And when I say 24/7, i mean it. However, my exams are next week and writing with a splint is impossible. My parents are reluctant to let me skip my exams, but at the same time, they know it s impossible for me to write. If the splint is not worn, the finger will become worser and surgery might be needed. Any advice?

  • Hi how long do i need to ice a goose egg on head?

Best answer: I had one too recently. You need to ice for much longer but don't expect big results, mostly it helps from the bump getting any bigger. You will still have the bump for a few days and it might also bruise.
