Also, a lot of the smart watches have health features like a pedometer, heart rate monitor (accuracy debatable), stop watch, etc.. which makes it very convenience being outside without having to carry your phone around. You can even load your songs on the Apple Watch and listen to them without having the phone on you.

    Tl:DR: Mostly for convenience.

I got 13 calls yesterday from these people and today 5 so far. I registered my phone number on the do not call list but it’s obvious they are ignoring. I pressed the “take me off the call list” button several times, and pressed the button to speak to a real person before but it never connects. How do I get them to just stop because I can’t afford 10+ calls every day.

  • Do office phones keep record of which phone numbers called them?

Best answer: A landline telephone does not keep records. The switch (computer) located at the central office has a record of what numbers called. If the business has its own PBX (switch) then the business will have records of what number called.

What do I do to get them to stop calling? It’s freaking me out and making me uncomfortable. I think some of them might be telemarketers but I’m too afraid to answer any of the calls. It just says the number and the location they’re calling from.

It will be entered into their call list and you'll likely receive one or more calls from live people trying to lie money out of you. Never pick up infamiliar calls. If the call is legit, a voicemail message will be left. If there is a voicemail message, you'll be able to tell that it's fake by the robotic voice and the tempting offer of a refund by a company that's going out of business. Don't answer unfamiliar calls.
