I'm a 24 year old male and my life is truly pathetic. I still live at home because I can't afford my own apartment and I have a part time, dead end, nearly minimum wage job as a groundskeeper for an apartment complex. I have a list of health and mental problems which keep me from improving my life, the biggest one being panic disorder. Every time I try to get a better job, I have a panic attack on the job interview because I get so nervous and have to excuse myself. I've tried so many times, but all I end up doing is torturing myself and losing the opportunity to ever work there because they think I'm crazy for panicking. I'm severely depressed and have no desire to do anything at all, including things I used to love. I can't even seem to pay attention to a TV show that I like anymore. I spend all of my time alone, including my time at work. I have no friends and no girlfriend. I do think of death a lot and I want it, but I'm too scared to go through with it because I'm a coward. Please don't suggest I go to school because school is not for me. I couldn't even make it through high school and ended up getting a GED instead. What I want is to get hired at a reputable company that will pay enough for me to support myself after putting in 5+ years or so. I know that they're out there, but I can't make it happen because I panic without fail every time and lose the opportunity to work there. I feel so defeated and hopeless and I'm suffering. If you were me, what would you do?

Or is that too much of an age gap? I'm speaking within legal adult age 18+ (no underage drama with laws)

Best answer: He never did, leaving that demand up to the Father to pronounce. This God did, as recorded in Hebrews chapter 1 where the clear distinction between Jesus and the angels is proven, then God demands that all His angels worship Christ!

That's in verse 6. But - guess what? All those who say Jesus is but a creature, a created angel, change that verse to water down what the Greek text actually says. They twist verse 6 into God demanding that His angels merely show great respect to the Son. They even change John 1:1 to introduce polytheism into their religion, saying Jesus is merely 'a god', not 'God' as the text actually requires.

They also ignore verse 3 that says this One made everything that was made, logically proving that He was not 'made' Himself. This is the eternal Word, who is God, who made everything that was made, who became flesh as Mary's child. But you won't ever find those people bending their knees in Jesus' name or trusting in only His name to be saved. No. They demand that you do not worship the risen Christ, or pray to Him (which He gave us permission to do in John 14:14 (which they have also changed). Stephen prayed to Jesus in Heaven just before being stoned to death, even though he also saw the Father. Read Acts 7:54-60.

No demands for worship are made because all who love God and His loving gift of His uncreated Son, willingly adore Him. Apart from those who try to twist scripture into saying Jesus is a creature instead of our Creator.

I know that it’s normal to do the whole daddy roleplay thing during sex, but sometimes it exceeds that. He calls me his little girl, as if he’s my actual father, or calls me his little sl*t or little wh*re in a babying voice. Sometimes he tells me to show him that I’m a “big girl” or how I’ve “grown up/how grown I am” so that he can reward me, or randomly tells me “it’s okay” during sex, literally as though me moaning either implies that since he regards me as his “little girl” and himself as my “daddy”, the moaning is either because I’m uncomfortable with how taboo the theoretical situation is, or that I’m uncomfortable having sex, because I’m a “little girl”. I am younger than him (17 and he’s almost 22) and I do have daddy issues (which I’ve confided in him about), so do you think it’s him taking advantage of that dynamic, or him just saying things in the spur of a passionate moment? Is this common in relationships and am I overreacting? Is this something most guys like to/want to do?

So, one of the most common, tedious questions here is demanding empirical proof of God (or any god, or gods). Furthermore, atheists like to claim they hold the "default position", without validating that claim in any way. I personally don't see empiricism as meaningful in relation to some god. It's beyond the scope of science, and thus a misapplication of science. However, it continues. So, a null hypothesis - a statistically valid, well formulated one that can be tested (saying "there are no gods" is not a valid null hypothesis). Present it, and theists can sink or swim from there. In science, it's how you establish a default position, so this should be easy for atheists, as they claim to already have that. Note: I'm not asking anyone to disprove "God". Only present a null hypothesis establishing, *statistically*, why such would be too improbable to consider. And again, opinions, value statements, trite rhetoric, etc... are not substantial. This is science - make it valid with a proper formula. Annnnnd... go!
