my mum is double amputee and lives on a bus route. There is a car that parks on the corner of our road next to a BT connection box (please see photo), she has to go around him on the road. The corner is blind for drivers. I have had drivers have a go at mum for being on the road and on more that one occasion my mum has had close calls. I have phoned 101 and told to contact the council and the council told me to contact the police. I know it is not right to put anything on the car but I do not want my mum to be hit or to have to suffer any more abuse from drivers. I would appreciate your advice Thank you

  • How to tell if my old car can make a 1500 mile trip?

Have a 2000 1.6L Saturn SL1. with 65000 miles. Runs pretty good, a little tiny bit rough, but never stalls or falters and always starts reliably. Change oil regularly but nothing else. Worried it may be too old to make it.

I consider myself a pretty patient person in my day to day life, however I find that whenever I'm driving a car people just seem to drive me nuts! It doesn't matter if it's a big or small thing that other motorists do wrong on the road, I find that it still gets me pissed off. Is there anything you can suggest that would help me be a more zen driver when I'm in a car?

Best answer: Yes, it's on the car itself in several places. The easiest to see is visible by looking through the lower right-hand corner of the windshield, right-hand if you're looking at the car from the front, meaning the driver's side unless you're in the UK or Australia or some country where they drive on the left. There is a metal tag that you can see through the class that has the vehicle's VIN. The 10th character from the left, which is a letter, is the year of the car's make. Click the link below to know what year your car was made based on that letter.

    EXAMPLE:

In the example below, the 10th character is D, so the year of the car is 1983.

Just today I was driving to work and this car behind me was tailgating me. Thing is I couldn’t go fast because I was stuck behind a truck. When we reach a light, I get stuck behind the res light. The car behind me, who was tailgating me, gets impatient and swerves around me running the red Light. I mean, I get that people don’t like to drive slow and have places to be, but don’t people realize that driving fast, and I mean fast fast, is so dangerous. Idk, any thoughts or experiences about this? I’m curious to see how other people feel.

While fuel economy isn’t of paramount importance to me, it would be nice to get a few more miles to the gallon. Thanks!

Like for example one car is a Dodge Grand Caravan from 1997 and the other is a Pontiac Montana from 2001. I am used to driving big cars like the vans so I narrow it down to suv cars, I really like the Buick Enclave, Lincoln or jeep. I feel more I research the more I get confused and I want a new car because used cars are kinda questionable in my opinion. In your opinion, what car is the best for me or what car would you choose that is a SUVs and if you would choose differently?
