  • What is the point of my tilt test?

    Your Answer:
Im really at the point where I might just cancel it, because if they looked at my heart and it looks fine then what could this possibly show. So I recently had an abnormal EKG done (rSr in v1) because of a recent fainting incident (I’ve had a few in the past) but I went and saw a cardiologist today and he did a stress test, another EKG (same as... show more

  • Does orange juice lower blood pressure?

    Your Answer:
I just started drinking lots of orange juice and my blood pressure is consistently 130/80 without medicine for a few days when it's usually 170/110. So do you think orange juice is the reason?

  • Is it possible I would have died if not for a car accident?

    Your Answer:
I hadn't seen a doctor in 10 years and only started because I got in to a car accident. He took my blood pressure and was shocked to see it was 170/120 and asked if I was on medication. I told him no since I didn't even know I had high blood pressure. I would never have known about it had not been in the car accident as I felt perfectly... show more

  • Is it possible heart medicine is making me feel worse?

    Your Answer:
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure (168/115) so began taking medication. Since I started, I've been feeling lightheaded, tired and even feeling like my heart is going to stop. Before taking pills I was perfectly fine and even ran 10 miles per day with no ill effects. So is the medicine making me feel worse?

  • My BPM has been much lower than usual?

    Your Answer:
So I’m pretty active I guess so when I did an ECG and EKG they didn’t find anything wrong, just “abnormal”. I was always in the 90s but recently is has been a lil below 60 each time. I eat less meat than before, maybe that a factor.... regardless they wanna run a fun more minor tests to make sure I don’t have any issues but to me that’s one thing I... show more

  • I have a tilt test scheduled next week but...?

    Your Answer:
So I recently had an abnormal EKG done (rSr in v1) because of a recent fainting incident (I’ve had a few in the past) but I went and saw a cardiologist today and he did a stress test, another EKG (same as before) and a echocardiogram. He said my heart was normal when exercising so there is no problem. I’m just curious why I’m even doing the tilt... show more
