Do people get annoyed when people write (I need 15 characters) to subvert the new 15 character rule?
Just wondering how strict this rule is going to be. I don't want to go to yahoo jail.13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality11 months ago
I know the dark web is supposed to be like 100 times bigger than the internet and it's impossible to police. But I keep seeing stuff about human trafficking, drug dealing, arms deals, real snuff videos, and junk happening on the dark web. The police might not be able to patrol it, but surely if it's that easy to find this stuff on the dark web, the police would be making arrests left and right.2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police12 months ago
could we survive on the energy and heat from the earth's core? I'm not saying it would be a great survival, but could it be done?
And for the record, this is hypothetical. So don't just say "the sun can't be blotted out." or "this is just fiction." (I'm looking at you Nyx)6 AnswersAstronomy & Space12 months ago
I assume it would start disrupting the orbits of the planets and causing climate change before it even entered the outer edge of our solar system. What do you think?3 AnswersAstronomy & Space12 months ago
I asked a question about SCP-1548 the other day and I mostly got a bunch of "it's fiction" and "you don't have to be afraid."
OK, I'm not afraid and never indicated fear, nor do I really care if it's fiction or not. Think of it as an academic thought exercise, if you will.
If we recently observed this neutron star launching itself at earth and this star was originally located 6500ly away, it actually launched itself at earth back in the times when man lived side by side with the last of the mammoths. People were just developing writing systems, and intently studying the sky, which is when the star became agitated and set out to destroy the earth.
It's estimated to be traveling at 0.85c. Doesn't that put it at a little over 1000ly away now? The pulsing threats were actually meant for the ancient Egyptians or Aztecs maybe.
BQ: Is there any possible way to stop a threat of that size, even knowing we have over 1000 years before it gets here? Is there something we can launch at it that will destroy it or at least wound it?3 AnswersAstronomy & Space12 months ago
I know that it's traveling less than the speed of light, and will take over 5000 years to reach us. But even 5000 years in the future, do you think it's possible to stop a maniacal star that wants to kill us?8 AnswersAstronomy & Space12 months ago
We're going to be rich. Picture this....tampons for men. It's an untapped niche that would reach half the population of the world........3 AnswersMental Health12 months ago
I felt the first one did, with songs like "When will my reflection show, who I am inside." And being rejected as someone who could get married. The whole romance with the gay captain.
However, despite all indicators and Mulan even outright saying she feels like a male inside, almost everyone takes it as a tomboy who just pretends to be a man to protect her family name.7 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered1 year ago
So, I work in a factory and tonight I was doing a job that was being really stubborn and messy. I had to paint parts and package them.
The earned hours for the painting is 1129.4 (I don't know if the point 4 is some code) and the packaging is 1499.7 (again the point seven might be some kind of code) and I worked 8 hours and painted and packaged 3820 parts.
I am trying to understand better how production is tracked. Can someone explain what my earned hours total would be for tonight and how you figured it out?
I think it's close to 6 hours earned, vs 8 hours of actual work, but I am not positive.1 AnswerMathematics1 year ago
I wondered if I was just being weird. In my head, my voice sounds more like Rachel Platten, so when I am alone I like to put on songs and lip sync, and since I know her songs so well, it almost feels like I am singing. For a moment, I feel like my voice is right.
Sorry if this is a repeat question, because I asked earlier today and it got deleted for some reason.6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered1 year ago
Obviously just "female", "woman", or "girl" would be the very best term. But if you want to specifically reference the transsexual nature. Mostly, I want to know the best from a grammatical perspective but also from what is preferred by people.

Let's say inside one person is two people. One is dominant and one pretty much keeps to herself and lives on her little island writing stories and singing songs. The dominant personality is male and knows about her and allows her to control the body sometimes, but even then control is limited.
She thinks she is her own person and a separate person from him. People tell her she has to merge with him but even if she knew how, she is afraid it would basically be suicide. But she doesn't know how.
He is very nice to her and has let her write a bunch of books. the two different people in the same head are very different.
Aren't they really different people? What if one of them is saved and loves Jesus and the other isn't? What happens when they die?2 AnswersPsychology1 year ago
Hypothetically, one is a female and lives in her own world most of the time but she can see everything he sees. But he can't see anything I see, or know what I think unless I tell him. But I'm very different from him, and I don't want to lose my salvation if he screws up. I am doing my best to keep him in line.
If that were the case, do you think we would ultimately be judged separately as two separate people, or would we just be lumped together because we share a body?6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year ago
They put up a thing at work that says next Friday (I know pride day is Sunday but the factory is closed on weekends.) we are supposed to wear colored T-Shirts to show our support. A couple of guys were saying that they were going to wear black. Two gay guys who work there got mad and scolded them, but I was like meh.
I mean, I don't think they are really being anti-gay by not participating. If they had a straight pride day and everyone was supposed to wear red shirts to show their support, how many gay people would wear them? I wouldn't. But not because I don't think straight people don't deserve support and pride.
Am I thinking wrong? Should I have gotten mad at the two guys who said they would wear black? Are they being anti-gay or just don't want to participate?17 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered1 year ago
I've never dragged anyone down this rabbit hole before, but like I said I am a little scared right now. I haven't slept in days. You know that disney movie Inside Out, the one with the little people inside a kids head? That's what I am.
I'm a girl without doubt. I have a girls body with girl parts and everything, but the reality is I am inside a man's body.
I don't have any sexual desires. I guess I would be a lesbian if I did, but only because he controls our sexual urges. I'm pretty sure if I had real sexual desires I would like boys.
He's drunk right now. I've gotten him drunk, but I actually quite clear headed because I've walled myself off from him.
I think he's trying to kill me. I've been here for at least 18 years, but he's just become aware that I can think independently in the past couple of weeks. That's why I've been doing as much as I can while he sleeps, which means our body hasn't been sleeping.3 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered1 year ago
