  • How to stretch my hamstrings?

My entire lower body hurts all the time. I haven't stretched in a while and now that I've started again, I think the pain is correlated to my hamstrings. I want to stretch them out so I can feel more normal, but every time I come close to stretching them, I either feel like crying or I cry. What stretches can I do so I don't cry in pain?

  • Should I take the SAT? (please read description).?

I´ve already taken the ACT twice now. The application for the only college I´m applying for that requires ACT/SAT is due December 1st. Although I took the ACT twice now, I just wanted to take the SAT so in case I did better on that than my ACT, I could send that in instead. But College Board has already cancelled my SAT five separate times (I registered in June, July, August, September, and October, and College Board cancelled on all of them due to COVID-19.) Also, after paying 100-150$ on the SAT the last five times, College Board wants me to pay another 100$ because they cancelled my SAT. I tried calling customer service, but it´s shut down (once again, due to COVID-19.) So should I pay the extra 100$ to take my SAT, or just stick to my ACT no matter how bad it is?

  • Could you please fill out the following short survey?

I have a psychology project where I have to survey 100 people due next week. Due to COVID-19, I don't have the opportunity to ask people in person. So, if you could, please fill this out, that'd be fantastic.

It will take less than 2 minutes! Here's the link:

  • What instrument should I learn to play now?

Over the years, I had learned how to play the guitar, drums, and piano (and I sign but that's not important.) I want to learn something else now. But because I now have a job, I'm going to have to pay for it myself (meaning I'm DEFINITELY going to use it, lol.) I was thinking of learning how to play the cello but I've never played a bowed instrument, and cellos and REALLY expensive. That being said, I've wanted to learn how to play the cello since I was nine years old. I would like to learn the violin or viola or some other bowed instrument, but I don't want my parents/siblings to suffer the horrendous sound of someone just learning the violin. I also don't want to play a wind instrument because I have asthma and run out of breath quickly. Any suggestions on what I should learn to play/look into? Thank you!

  • How do you apply for financial aid when you have a small business?

I am applying to a lot of colleges this year and although my parents have 2 well-paying jobs, I’m paying for a lot of my college myself. Our income says that I’m not eligible for financial aid. But my parents do have a small business that makes less money. If I put in the income from that business, I’d definitely get financial aid. So would I be allowed to do that? Or would that be fraud?

    Thank you for your time.

  • How do you know if you're ugly?

This is kinda a sad question, lol. But lately I've been questioning if I'm ugly or not. I've had a lot of people lately tell me I'm ugly, I'm flat, I "look like a *****" etc. Throughout my life, I've had people say I look like a guy and I'm gross looking, etc. However, my family and friends tell me I'm pretty. Of course, they could be lying and we're back to square one. So how do you know if you're actually ugly? And how can you not be ugly (lol)?

  • How do I deal with my strict parents?

I believe that my parents have become too strict. They lock my phone at nine so I can't text, call, or facetime anyone (including family;) they don't let me eat certain foods, they've forced me to have a five o'clock curfew on weekdays and weekends, and more. Not to mention the constant arguing. If I don't do something they ask me to, they'll yell at me; If I do something they ask me to, they'll yell at me. Lately, the thing that's been bothering me the most is that they won't let me leave the house (the Coronavirus pandemic is occurring right now;) I'm not allowed to leave my house or my front yard. At this point, I feel like it's getting out of hand, and the majority of my friends and outer family are worried about me because I'm not going to have any real life experience when I go to college. I've told my parents about this, and it always starts an argument. Does anyone know what I can do to gain some freedom? Or maybe even advice on how to live through these next two years without losing my mind?

  • Why does my body ache?

For the past week or so, my knees have been aching. Ibuprofen doesn't help and they hurt no matter what I do. The front of my thighs start to burn when I'm just sitting down and sometimes my lower back will hurt as well. It's not shin splints because I've had those before and they don't feel the same. Besides, basketball season has just ended. I doubt that it's growing pains because I'm a 15 year old female. Anyone know what's happening?

  • How do you describe falling for someone?

I'm writing a story, and the main character is falling for her friend. I've obviously felt what it's like to have a crush, but I hated the stressed so I've tried to avoid crushing on people for a while. I know the normal "Heart racing," "Stomach flipping," "butterflies," and "overflowing thoughts," But is there anything else?

  • How do I tell my strict parents to stop treating me like a child?

I want to get more responsibility and be able to do things that a normal teenager would do, but my parents are extremely strict and won't let me do anything. In a couple years I have to leave for college and I'm afraid that I'm not going to know what to do and what not to do. So what should I tell my parents so I can get a little more of a life?

  • Should I sneak out to go to a New Years' Eve party?

I was inviting to go to a NYE party this year, which has never happened before. But, I can't go because my parents won't let me since the friend of mine has a dog. I'm extremely allergic to dogs to the point of getting Bronchitis or Pneumonia if I'm not treated by a doctor. I also have Basketball practice after break. BUT If I don't go, I have to third wheel my parents' wedding anniversary, most likely go to bed at like ten and go through severe FOMO. Should I sneak out or stay home?

  • I'm in the mood to break some rules. How do I get rid of that mood?

Not rules as in "I'll get arrested", rules like "household rules".

  • Would you be able to walk if you were stabbed in the lower back?

I'm writing a story where a girl gets stabbed in the lower back. It doesn't hit her spine, and it's on the right side. If she was put into the hospital for around a week or two, would she be able to walk?

  • Why are my dreams so morbid?

I'm 15 and I been having these morbid dreams since I was around 8. I've had dreams where teenagers have tried to or succeeded to commit suicide, parents are killing their babies, aliens are killing society, kidnapping, rape, torture, sadness, murder, and stuff like that. I absolutely hate all of these topics and I'm known as one of the most positive and optimistic people in my grade so I don't know why I have all of these morbid dreams. Does anyone have the answer?
