Looking for a campsite where there is an easy access to a great mountain biking trail (or a great hiking trail). I plan to go next week for 3 days or so. Particularly in the lower peninsula.
Any suggestions or personal favorites?1 AnswerOther - Outdoor Recreation1 decade ago
I like running (sidewalk or dirt trails) and my timing is 11 minutes/mile. Is this too slow? Would like to do 5k and 10k's some day but no matter how much I try, I cannot go faster than 11 minutes/mile.
I think I have the physical strength to do it, but when I try to go faster my heart feels like it wants to explode out of my chest and then I get typical chest pain symptoms!
Am I stuck at 11 minutes/mile or is there something I can do to improve?2 AnswersRunning1 decade ago
I want to purchase a home this year and take advantage of the Obama $8k give-away for new home buyers.
I make 55-60k/year.
school loan repayment 250/mo
How do I search for only foreclosed/bank-owned homes for the lower prices? Should I use a real estate agent? When should I apply for a loan (apartment's lease is up in December of this year)?
What are some other pointers ya'll can recommend for me?
Thanks in advance for all your input.4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade ago
I'm looking to help someone with their home daycare. They have 3 children already and they are looking for 3 more.
There are newspapers and craigslist to post advertisements, but I'm also looking to post flyers in public places. The grocery stores used to have a cork board where people placed advertisements but they do not have them anymore.
Do you know of any place in the Livonia area to post flyers?3 AnswersDetroit1 decade ago
If you were forced to listen to one Metallica song for 24 hours straight, which one would it be? And would you still listen to it after that 24th hour?
For me, it would be any one of their instrumentals, especially "To live is to die".9 AnswersOther - Music1 decade ago
My current vehicle is a Saturn ION 2003 with over 105k miles. So far it still runs good and have no major problems with it.
I would like to purchase a Chevy Trailblazer but I don't have the $25k cash to do it yet. My current income is 50-60k/year and the work is steady (healthcare).
Should I drive this Saturn into the ground and not worry about a new vehicle until then? or is it reasonable to buy the vehicle I want at this time?
