Why do people agree that this is appropriate when most adults are likely no better than a teen when it comes to bad habits? And why is following instructions emphasized in society so much? I feel adults try to justify menacing behaviors towards others especially their children or younger people because they're more easily intimidated because of frustrations they've experienced in their personal lives. I think they also enjoy having even miniscule amounts of power over others. What gives these people the authority to talk to people in loud voices or try and force them to do things? Also, what do you think drives them to be like that? I don't think it's just what they would call "discipline."
