A technician bought a new Seagate internal HDD for my desktop pc. Initially it worked good and now its been six months that the hard drive is giving issues. The screen goes off after the motherboard logo appears or shows to insert a proper boot device. I can sometimes hear beeping or clicking like sound from it. I tried a different HDD to cross-check and it worked good. Even the BIOS is not detecting the HDD and when I tried to install new windows it is not showing any drive to insall the OS. The hard disk is still under warranty period and when contacted the Seagate customer support providing all the info related to my product they said that they can't do anything in this matter as my HDD is an OEM product. What should I do now? I can show my HDD to the technician but he would charge unnecessarily as service fee and repairing charges separately.
