What are the indications of another uk lockdown? I suspect another lockdown as the one back in March would be a complete disaster for this governent because many believe the economic damage not to mention deaths and significant health issues caused as a result of lockdown were all dissproportionate to the real threat. What are your thoughts?18 AnswersCurrent Events2 months ago
Hi there, we plan to buy a puppy in Northern Ireland and bring back to England.
Are there any regulations we need to be aware of?
What is the cheapest way to do it, car ferry or flight?
Many thanks1 AnswerOther - Ireland2 months ago

I know someone who is a refugee from Tehran.
He's been in the UK since 2012 and he's explained that he had to leave due to
some problems with the government although when asked what the specific reasons were, he clearly feels uncomfortable discussing it and doesn't divulge any more.
Does anyone know what sort of problems he might be speaking of?
What might have happened to him if he remained and could he have been forced to leave or do you think he had to flee the country out of fear?
I think it's important those of us living in the UK have more of an idea as to why people like this are now living in the UK and why they had to leave their country and what they might have had to endure.
It's especially important because many of us are completely ignorant about these people and the fact that they may have had to flee for their lives from horrific scenarios.
Please enlighten me because I am very interested. Iif I'm sharing my country with them, I care to know what might have brought them to these shores and what they may have had to endure.
