A sine wave clipped at X% of the peak value represents what %THD? Given THD = (Pt-P1)/P1, how do you calculate P1 since the fundamental frequency amplitude of the clipped sine is not the same as the unclipped sine wave.

  • Linux rtl8188 driver problem?

I'm trying Ubuntu and Debian Linux. I have driver install files from Realtek (rtl8188/rtl8192) but it requires root to run make etc. Problems are that Ubuntu does not provide the root password setup and Debian (huge disk1) does not come with make etc. Without this driver installed I have no network access under Linux.
