Hey hows it goin?
This is my computer
Recently while playing a game i suffered from extreme system all round slowness. So I checked in task manager to see if something in the background was taking up cpu usage, but their isn't.. My CPU only is using above 20% when this happens if it is under 20% it runs completely fine... This is random and sporadic whether im playing or not if my CPU usage reaches 20% it freaks out and slows down.. I made sure all of the processes running were only the necessary ones and my game and it still has no effect. It sits in a cool place and I don't believe its overheating, I got a reading 40 degrees celsius from a hardware diagnostics test it does automatically. My question is, is that if my computer has the potential to use 100% of the cpu why does it only function normally when it is under 20%, and if there is a way to fix my issue.. If any extra info is needed please ask...6 AnswersDesktops1 decade ago
I recently, as of a week ago, now own two red eared sliders. At first they did not eat or even come out of the water at all, they would just swim frantically under water into the glass. Now they have started to eat and they come out of the water and bask in their light and their floating platform. But every time I come into the room they freak out and instantly go underneath their platform. Do they need more time to get accustomed to me and their surroundings? Is their anything I can do to make them used to me more? I would like to clean out the tank and refresh the water but I don't want to take them out if it is going to disturb them. Should I wait a bit to clean it out? When I do take them out should I put them in a holding tank or can I simply place them into my bathtub or something for a little while? If I need to wait a while for them to get used to the tank how long on average does this take?2 AnswersReptiles1 decade ago
I bought two red eared sliders today, they are young and seem to be a little out of place in my tank. Which I suspected was just due to stress. I have little feeder fish in the tank with them, they seem to have no interest in the fish though. I dropped a few turtle pellets in the tank and they weren't interested in those either... Are they not eating because it's an unfamiliar place? I am hoping they will eat the fish but i don't know if they will become friendly with them because they are constantly in the tank. Should I separate the fish and put them into another holding tank and only add them at feeding time? Will they calm down and stop scratching the side of the tank too? Just looking for some beginners advice.7 AnswersReptiles1 decade ago
