  • Have you been to a chiropractor to relieve pain ever in your life?

I have heard stories that, once you go, if you want to keep feeling normal and pain free you have to make future, regular appointments, and if you stop going, all that relieved pain comes back.

Then I heard none of that is true, and the only reason why someone might make 3 or 4 appointments is because they needed more than one appointment to relieve all of the pain.  But once they are pain free, there's no need to keep going back, unless pain comes back unexpectedly.

I'm not in any pain, it's something I heard probably over 20 years ago, and I've been watching chiropractor YouTube videos so it got me thinking, thought I'd ask about it.

Have you seen a chiropractor and what is true about it and what is false?

Thanks if you can help out.

  • Could you help me out with Uninterruptible power supplys?

Within the last year I purchased a CyberPower 550VA UPS and had my 40" TCL Roku TV hooked up to it.  When the power went out, it ran my TV for a whole hour.

Here's a few questions: What is the power draw of a 40" TCL Roku TV, just watching local television?  Would a TCL Roku TV have less power draw than a 28" tube TV?  If so, how much of a difference would there be?

The reason I'm asking is because if that UPS ran the TV for a whole hour, what would be the next size up for a UPS that could run the TV for 2 hours?

  • Why does Gordon Ramsey call Tom, Sinbad?

If you play and then skip to 1:38 in the video below, Ramsey says to chef Tom on the Blue Team "You, Sinbad, shut it!"  In which Tom replies, "Yes chef"

Why does Ramsey call Tom, "Sinbad"?  Is it because he's wearing the bandana?  Is Ramsey making a reference to the character Sinbad from the movie?

Just looking for clarification, best answer gets 10 points.  Thanks.

  • Computer clock time changes when booting from a DVD?

Okay so currently I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  Yes I know it is out of support.  Here's my problem.  If I boot with a DVD with Linux Mint 19.3, or Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and run a live session using the DVD, when I boot back into Windows 7, the time will have changed.  Now if I change the time back to what it's supposed to be, and then shutdown and boot back into Windows 7, the time will have kept.

Even if I shutdown for two whole days, and then turn the PC on and boot into Windows 7, the time will have kept.  BUT.... if I boot into a Linux DVD, then boot back into Windows 7, the time will be different.  I know it's not a CMOS battery issue because I shut my PC down every night before going to bed, and when I boot up, the time is what it should be.

Any reason why this might be happening?

  • Can you start up Windows 7 with settings like Windows 3.1?

Whenever you start Windows 3.1, the Program Manager opens, and if in Windows 3.1 you have a games window, and control panel, if you quit Windows 3.1 with those Windows open, or in a specific position, the next time you load Windows 3.1, those windows and positions will be exactly the same.

Can this same thing be done in Windows 7?  Let's say I have My Computer open, or I've got multiple windows open, then I shut down.  Can I start Windows 7 with all of those same windows already open and in the same positions before I shut down or not?

  • If I have 190 videos to watch, and each video is 30 minutes, how many hours does that equal?

    I did 190 x 30 and got 5700, but that doesn't seem right.

  • When approaching a traffic circle, what should you do at a yield sign?

In my state, there is a traffic circle, at each entrance to the circle are clear and visible YIELD signs.  Now the circle traffic moves to the right.  So you can only turn right to go into the circle.  Also, I know that yield means to slow down, look to your left and proceed if safe to do so.

Most times if I am already in the circle, other drivers will barrel into the circle, ignoring the YIELD signs, as if they're supposed to zipper merge into the circle.

So two questions, if vehicles are zipper merging into the circle instead of yielding to traffic already in the circle, aren't they in the wrong?  Why can't drivers be bothered to wait a measly 2 seconds for you to go by so they can enter the circle?

  • 5.25" and 3.25" disks for the DOS OS not reading properly?

So the game I was playing on the DOS machine had an error.  I still own the original 3.25" disk.  So I put the disk into the drive, and get a General Read Error.  I got out my 3.25" USB floppy drive, put the original disk in and it read it perfectly fine.  Didn't get any kind of errors at all.

So I was able to copy from the original 3.25" disk to an unused and brand new 3.25" disk.  I placed the brand new 3.25" disk into the DOS machine, and it read that disk without any problems.  (back when walmart still sold 3.25" disks I bought a couple packs, they just been sitting ever since)

I've never had any other OS or computer system other than DOS, and I know for absolutely certain, 1000% certain, that all of my 5.25" and 3.25" disks are made for DOS only.  Can this be an issue of those disk drives going bad?

Back in the old days I could run Scandisk to fix bad errors on the disk, but Scandisk won't even run on those disks.  And like I said, the original 3.25" disk read fine on my USB 3.25" disk drive, but the disk wouldn't read on the actual 3.25" disk drive installed in the DOS machine.

  • Do you have knowledge about 5.25" and 3.25" disks?

So basically I've kept a very small container made for 5.25" floppy disks that my dad had, and I've had those disks now for 30 years.  They are in pristine condition, but every single 5.25" floppy disk gives me a General reading error.  They've been stored in my closet in those containers.  But even still, after 30 years, have those 5.25" floppy disks gone bad?

I have a ton of 3.25" disks and they still work beautifully.  Even bought a pack or two when Walmart still sold them, and they also work.  So why do the 5.25" floppy disks not work, but the 3.25" disks do work?

  • Why did bidens son receive $3.5B dollars from a resident of Russia?

    https://nypost.com/2020/09/23/hunter-biden-receive...

I mean, you can't scream that Trump is in with Russia, if people on the left are also in with Russia.  And remember what obozo told Putin, "I'll have more flexibility after the election"

It's the left who is and has been in with Russia, but because they hate Trump so much they'll frame him for their crimes.

  • Will you consider everything in a persons life before they become a national public figure?

Basically what I'm saying is that people do things in their past, then later in life try to say that "it never happened" when there is solid proof that it did.

Let's say Bob and Jim are running for president, Bob has a nearly perfect record, never did anything wrong in his past, but Jim, 30 years ago made racist remarks, and generally just did things that creeped people out.  But because of politics, people want Jim as president, not Bob.

Would you consider everything that happened in Jim's past before you blindly made a vote for him?

And this right here, is from bidens past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XUC6_HZHuY

  • What might be the name of this computer game from the 1990's?

All I remember is that it was a demo disc, or a very short game.  At some point in the game, you had to pick up a wrench or a hammer, and along the way was a payphone.  When you clicked on the payphone, it would show another screen of it real close up.  And when you clicked on the phone, a deep voice would slowly say the phrase "Comlink!" as it would echo.

Any idea what the name of this game could be?  I've looked on youtube, google, I can't find anything.

  • People mostly are mad at Trump for no more stimulus.  Shouldn't we be mad at both parties?

Dems say that problem solvers bill doesn't go far enough and reps think it costs too much.

I really wish they would stop playing political games, and give US American citizens the financial aid we have been needing!!!!  This is bullcrap!!!!

  • What are the actual facts that prove the virus was not man made?

News articles, people in government saying it's not man made are not facts.  I have not seen any actual proof that shows to me it's not man made.

I don't know what to believe at this point.  I've heard so many different things, however, if it was man made it wouldn't surprise me.

  • What should I do with my IRA account?

So it was a 401K, and then I rolled it over into what's known as a "401K rollover IRA."

With everything that is going on, the uncertainty of this years presidential election, I feel like I need to just take a distribution on the account.  I don't contribute to it, but I don't want it to become something like, I end up losing that potential amount of money due to some kind of crash or whatever.  I keep saying to myself, well if anything does go awry, at least I took that distribution so that I now have the extra money.

I know it's retirement money but I just feel like I have to take it.  What do you think?  Should I just leave it alone or take the distribution?

  • Still keeping up with the hypocrisy from Dems?

So it's okay for Dems to run around without masks but as soon as reps do it, there's hell to pay.  Proof below.

  • What do you think the outcome of the general election will be?

Been reading a few articles here and there and my theory is that the election will be contested, it's going to drag out, Trump and Biden will put out tweets and peelosi, as much as I can't stand her, will become president, then the left can claim that they finally got a woman in the white house.

I hope to god that doesn't happen, but I just have this awful feeling about it.  What do you think?

  • Isn't it ironic that Trump calls out news networks?

...and look at that, aoc just called out NBC for their hatred, vitriol and divisiveness in their reporting on her one minute speech.

I personally find it hilarious that not only is Trump calling out the media, but so is aoc.

How do you feel about it?  My opinion has been the same, it's the media sowing the hate.

  • Why would the Republican National Committee send out mail-in ballot signup advertisements....?

....if they are that worried about voter fraud by mail-in ballots??  Like, it doesn't make sense.  I thought the dems were sending out mail-in ballot request things, and I was out in the kitchen and seen mail on the table with the words "Republican National Committee" on them, and they are like requests to sign-up for a mail-in ballot.

If the R's are so against it, why would they send those out?

  • If you could own an original Commodore 64, with disk drives, disks, monitor, joysticks, would you really want to?

I know there is a Commodore 64 mini with built-in games, but what I'm saying is, if you could own an actual Commodore 64, with all the disk drives, disks, tapes, joysticks, CRT monitor, would you really want to?

I know how dated the graphics are for most games, and there's people who watch videos of gameplay and they state things such as "This brings me back to my childhood" or "I remember this, such memories!"  Well, as great as those memories were, wouldn't you want to revisit them on actual hardware?

Personally, I grew up with the Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Master System, so I own an Atari 2600 with like 96 physical cartridges, I own an original NES with 50 cartridges, a SNES with like 20 cartridges, and from time to time I will go back to play them.
