what affect would that have on our economy?
(US crude oil consumption)
I'm not suggesting commercial, which primarily uses diesel. If 50% of the crude oil that is processed in to gasoline, was no longer consumed, and our focus was on subsidizing diesel domestic and imported. Would that not be a nudge to get the ball rolling in the right direction again?
Part 2: what is so hard about using an avg car battery or two, to power an electric generator, that in turn provided power to run a more powerful electric generator that would act as a combustible engine? Throw an alternator on and wham 50% of our oil consumption in the form of gasoline is gone. The economy takes off cause suppliers expenses our lower with the abundance of diesel production, as well auto retail takes off again. The roaring 20's all over again.
