I have gotten in 5 UK colleges and 4 US ones. I have to give up on US ones as I cant afford them( I even got in my dream university, cornell but it is too expensive). I would love to study in UK and I can afford KIngs College London, University of Edinburgh and University of Glasgow. I have unconditional offer from KCL and Glasgow and conditional from Edinburgh. However, I dont know if I should go to UK as most of my family thinks it is better to go to Singapore. So, I hope I get in but I have no idea when they will send the decision letter. I have decided to make KCL my firm choice but still I prefer this (2nd dream university)? Do you think I can get in? And by when will I come to know about the decision?

Also, is the following statement true(source = WIKIPEDIA) "Upon completing a degree at the Malaysia campus, students are awarded a University of Nottingham degree certificate which is indistinguishable from the certificates awarded at the Nottingham campus. " Do they mean they don't even write the campus at which the person graduated from(that would be a little weird)?

Problem is that out of the 11 colleges I am applying to, 5 have a deadline of 1-5 January. College List Boston University Cornell Dartmouth JHU NYU Purdue UNC at CH University of Southern California Georgia Tech University of Michigan PennState The Ones I am worried about are Boston University 1 Jan Cornell 1 Jan Dartmouth 2 Jan(But I received an email stating that as admissions offices are closed till 5 jan and due to new year, the application documents can reach by 6 jan) JHU - 5 jan NYU - 1 Jan

  • In college essay, is it okay to write "I like making people happy" and "it gives me a lot of satisfaction to help others"?

It is true and I am writing this because I was named after a philanthropist and Dartmouth's essay topic is "Every name tells a story: Tell us about your name and its origin". I guess we also have to write how is the name important to me. SO is it okay to write it but isnt it mundane?

RDJ will be 63 at that time. And other actors like Chris E, Chris H will get old. And it will not be a good idea to change any actor especially RDJ(how can anyone else be Iron Man as there is only one true Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr). Look at Amazing Spiderman, its simple Toby is spiderman. Similarly, they didnt make another actor joker just to continue batman movies did they as that wont be popular. And I really cant see Iron Man as anybody except for my favorite actor RDJ. Only person who can continue after avengers 3 is Scarlett and while I love Black Widow, I dont think she is enough for carrying avengers and changing others cant be good for the series. So, Do you think marvel will continue to make movies after avengers 3?

I cant take anything bigger than 42 inch in my room(it will be too big). So, I was searching for a tv and I loved the 4K displays. Only samsung seems to make 4K 40 inch TV but its almost twice the price I would pay for an excellent 1080p screen. so, is it worth getting 4K right now at 40 inch? and LG also announced a 40inch 4k TV but unlike samsung, that tv doesnt seem to be worth it? so I have 3 questions: 1. Buy or not? 2. Worth it? 3. Which one?
