I want to know about what people have found when porting their number from t-mobile with a PAC code.
I contacted t-mobile today, got my PAC but don't believe what the advisor said about final charges. I feel they may have been telling porkies in an effort to make me stay.
I am out of contract and know there is a 30 day notice period to cancel. the advisor told me i would be charged 30 days from when the PAC is used which seems wrong.
I just want to know if anyone has transferred from T-mobile what sort of charges you found for doing this.2 AnswersMobile Phones & Plans9 years ago
Ordered a new PC and I know its going to come pre-installed with all sorts of rubbish I don't want such as mcafee and free trials. Has anyone used http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/home recently, does it cause any problems or would I be better just removing everything individually or doing a fresh install of windows?3 AnswersSoftware1 decade ago
I have a desk top PC running XP home edition SP2 and there is now two laptops running XP media centre.
The two laptops can access shared folders between each other and the desktop can acess shared folders on the two laptops.
The laptops however cannot access the shared folders on the desktop. When I go in to view workgroup compuers the desktop is listed but when I try to open it I get an error saying I don't have access.
Have checked everything I can think of on desktop and all the permssions seem OK.
Anyone have any ideas, the only thing I can think of is pro/mce is not compatible in this way with home edition which would not be helpful.
Is this fixable or should I just install an FTP server on the desktop pc and use that. Have also considered ditching windows and using linux as a samba server ut find it impossible to get wireless networking working on that.5 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade ago
